The large gaping hole in the corner room of the palace was glaringly visible from everywhere. Virat stood at the edge of the breaks and looked down.
"How the hell did a human survive that fall, Maharaj? She's not even half immortal and half mortal. She's human. Half of her blood is divine but not immortal. I'm surprised she survived that fall from this height."
Virat picked up a boulder and threw it down the missing wall, watching it fall down through the hills and trees. The court of Virat was gathered there. Everyone moved away to make way for the Queen Mother to arrive. She looked at the damage.
She should have guessed. Any child of the blood of Vishnu is born with the ability to wreck everything in Patala with a flick of their fingers. A human. She was born a human and managed this much damage.
Virat put his hand on the broken wall, at the edge. The air fluttered into the place. It made Virat's cape fluttered. Black suit and a black fur cape.
He took the hologram tablet from his minister and looked at the footage of her. She took off her helmet, got down with Nandini. Waving her hair, floral dress, and pretty features. She walked so confidently ahead into the gates of Patala, not even looking scared if things go wrong. As he looked at her like that, it reminded him of a familiar sight.
The memory of Sri in a gorgeous red gown, walking through the gates of his office. The guards were so puzzled by her beauty and royal aura that they almost forgot to stop her at the gates and asked for her identity. He just watched her through the security footage. Sri never fails to amaze people. Always closely followed by Alakshmi behind her. Sri's beauty and aura always sideline Alakshmi and that often irritated the elder sibling. Though it is inevitable. Everywhere that Sri walks, Alakshmi follows. The only place that Alakshmi cannot enter behind Lakshmi is Vaikuntha. The courtesy of Vishnu. Vishnu's presence is too bright for Alakshmi to survive well. Alakshmi's hatred for Vishnu matched that of Shukra's. Sri's all-consuming love for Vishnu was something Alakshmi had never been able to stand.
Then when Virat watched a footage of her fighting rakshasas, he could see the familiar nature of Vishnu in her. Not quite that graceful and undefeated but surely he could see the future her managing to learn that grace and victorious nature. By far, she extruded the key elements of Vishnu. His determination, his habit of always emerging victorious, and his goal-oriented nature.
"Someone saved her from the moat." Virat decided. "Find the person who helped her. Look through all of Patala for someone who has saved her and bring him before me."
Virat twirled the arrow that he received from the said Vishnusuta.
The girl was far too courageous for his liking.
"What do you think? Will it be difficult to handle her?" Diti asked her son.
Virat measured the damage again.
"Difficult? Surely. Just as sure as the entertainment it will be to see her fall to her feet before me. Fall from that grace. Somehow, it is a deep desire to see what she does when she's desperate. Perhaps that is the only way to imagine how Vishnu would seem when he's desperate."
A grin on Virat's face was sure to tell that things were going to be difficult for Alaknanda.
