Music for the Chapter: Satisfya by Imran Khan
"Listen, we need to split, we only have 15 minutes from the time left out of the one and a half an hour we set for looking through Rasatala. So, you have to go to one side and I'll take the other. The other will know when one of us has got our hands on Vijaya because the whole palace will be alerted to the missing Vijaya. Once that happens, I need you to rush straight towards Sutala. The other will reach by themselves." I suggested.
"Okay." Nandini nodded. We were about to split. She held my hand for a minute. "Be careful."
I nodded with a smile. "See you in 10 minutes." She didn't let go of my hand for a moment. Then after a few moments, she let go and went ahead.
I took the left side. After going ahead a few steps, I looked at my hand. The tingling feeling in your heart when someone holds your hand in a certain way. Saying it felt like butterflies would be slightly wrong. It felt like fireworks at the best.
Adi, this is no time to be dwelling on your crush. My mind told me. No matter how sweet it feels, we need to keep moving. Stop looking at your hand like Hrithik Roshan shook hands with you.
I continued up ahead into the palace. I reached quite far using my connection to Shukracharya. Noting that I had a few signature features from my mother, it was easier to tell them I was from her family. Who was to tell them I'm her daughter? Also, I looked a lot more like Narayan than maa but they hadn't ever seen him closely to notice that. It didn't help that my floral dress was easily noticeable. So, not much of a help when I want to disappear. No one else in this entire palace would wear a floral dress. It was a bit difficult to work with the injury on my arm but I had learned to stop complaining. It began to get clear on why Guru Parshuram's training was generally harsh military training. He had always meant to make us strong and be able to keep going ahead even with some injuries.
"Wait? Who are you?"
I had reached quite close to it when I noticed the amount of security in the corridor. I knew the exact direction I had to follow to reach the room.
"I'm related to Guru Shukracharya so..."
"So? We have not been informed by anyone that anyone related to him can get in here. Unless you go get him personally or Maharaj, you're not going in."
I took a deep breath. Since this is not working, I've got to take a different route. I closed my eyes. Bhaiya, help me with some distractions.
Go ahead. They won't be able to hear you behind that corridor. He answered.
"Sorry but I'm in a bit of a hurry. Need to get in. So, let's settle this like gentlemen. We don't need to fight." I offered.
"I don't want to fight little baby girls like you."
