"Hi, anak. How's school?" I kissed Mommy in the cheeks and hugged her. I am still wearing my school's uniform. Kakauwi ko lang.

"Uhm. Good." I smiled.

"May activity kayo kaya ka nagabihan?"

"Yes, Mommy. Uhh, nahihiya kasi akong hindi tumulong sa mga kagroup ko kaya sumama ako."

Mommy agreed, "Yes. That's good. I am glad that you're already gaining friends. I bet marami ka na kaibigan!"

"H-hindi naman totally friends, Mommy. Uhh, they're good and I am now more comfortable to be with them unlike the first meeting that it's pretty awkward."

"It's alright, Lianna. You're doing great! Minsan invite mo rin sila dito sa bahay. Malapit na ang birthday mo. Invite mo kaya sila rito sa birthday mo?"

Speaking of birthday, my birthday is already on the 30th day of November. I actually have no plans for my birthday.

"Start planning about your birthday, hija."

"Yeah... yeah..." I waved my hands as I go upstairs. I am not used to having parties during my birthdays. Usually, it's just a simple celebration. Hindi rin ako nagi-invite ng ibang kaklase kahit noong nasa America pa ako. Just the closest ones and my family.

Medyo matagal pa naman kaya isinawalang-bahala ko muna ito.

It was already my hobby to watch the stars here from my windows. I changed the position of my study desk facing the window and the sky—now I am loving it.

Natapos na akong maligo at pinapatuyo ko na lang ang buhok ko bago maligo. I crossed my arms as I watch the stars.

"They're so beautiful..." I mumbled.

Stars shining so bright in the night sky. They're shining, blinking, and twinkling. But they are also flawed, just like us. No matter how other's see you beautifully and almost perfect and kind—we are still flawed. Well, sino nga ba naman ang hindi? Lahat naman tayo hindi perpekto.

Pero gusto ko maging perpekto... para sa kanya.

"If I love you..., would you let me?" I whispered as if someone's listening.

"You look pale, Lianna." Kate commented.

I flashed a small smile.

"Are you sick?"

"I don't know. I feel dizzy." I mumbled.

"Magpahinga muna tayo rito sa bench kung gusto mo? Ano bang ginawa mo? Nagpagod ka ba?"
