"Bagay sa iyo."

"Uhmm... how about this?"

"Yup. Bagay rin."

"Argh! Kainis! Bakit ang hirap mamili ng dress?!" I grunted tiredly. Kanina pa kami naghahanap ni Anika ng damit para sa date namin ni Khiel. Wait... what?! Date?! Date iyon hindi ba? Iyong kami lang dalawa?!

"Lianna, kahit ano na ang piliin mo ayos lang at maganda ka." I frowned at Anika's comment.

"Sige na. Mali-late ka na sa date niyo bahala ka hindi ka na nun aayain sa susunod." my face heated... so... it is really a date?!

"H-hindi naman niya sinabing date. Magce-celebrate lang kaming dalawa."

"Sus! Iyon din 'yon 'no! Kayong dalawa lang, edi date!"

My face heated again but afterwards a ghost of smile is forming on my lips. I immediately get up and chose the best outfit. Bahala na.

In the end, I chose a pink floral knee-length dress.

"Hindi naman ako over-dressed?"

"Huh? Hindi ah. Minsan nakikita ko mga kaklase ko ganyan ang suot nila tuwing magdidate sila ng boyfriend nila."

"Ikaw? Hindi ba sabi mo may boyfriend ka dati? Ano sinusuot mo?" I looked myself on the reflection. I think it's good naman. Not overdressed cuz it's simple but cute. I like cute dresses though.

"Pantalon lang."

"Kinakabahan ako Anika!" geez. Hindi ko talaga inaasahan na aayain ako ni Khiel.

"Don't be, Lianna. Enjoy mo lang." she smiled.

"Masaya..." she added meaningfully.

While walking downstairs, Mommy and Daddy flew their eyes on me. They smiled like they're teasing me. I rolled my eyes on them. Kagabi pa sila! Nagpaalam kasi ako kagabi kung p'wede akong lumabas kasama ang uhhh friend ko. They kept on asking me who is this friend and of course I am shy to tell them that it was Khiel.

"What?" I hissed at them.

Mommy shook her head and called Manong Berto.

"Manong! Pahatid na si Lianna sa mall. Magkikita sila ng friend niya." She really emphasized the word friend meaningfully. I heard Anika chuckled from behind. I rolled my eyes once again.

I bid a goodbye kiss to them and immediately walks out of the house. Baka asarin na naman ako eh.

"Sa mall po."

I think it's my first time going out without my parents. Usually, we go here for lunch and for family date. But now... I am with Khiel. My face heated again. I shook my head and diverted my focus on the road.
