Nobody's POV:
So far, it had been a fairly normal day for Virgil.  His boyfriend, Logan went off to go handle some things and told Virgil to sit out on this one. Virgil needed a break anyway, so he accepted. But later that day something happened.
Logan bursted into their joined room where Virgil was and quickly shut the door behind him panting as if he'd ran all the way here.  Virgil immediately stopped what he was doing and stood up,
"Lo?? What's going on? Are you okay?—"  The very concerned Virgil began to say before Logan's shaky out of breath voice interrupted.
"..V-Virgil...I-..N-No, I don't think I'm okay.."
He stammered out in panic and Virgil quickly went over putting his hand on Logan's shoulder, making Logan flinch to Virgil's surprise.
"L-Logan..? Come here.. Let's get you calmed down, and then you can tell me what's happening... Alright?"   Virgil said as comfortingly as he could, but he was still extremely worried,
Logan hesitantly nodded before turning around and Virgil brought him into his arms.
"..V-Virgil....I-I don't want to h-hurt you.."  Logan whispered shakily in which Virgil replied very confused and concerned,
"...What?.. Why would you hurt me?"  Virgil asked getting very scared for his lover,
"...V-Vee.. It was Remus. H-He.. He kept purposely ignoring me a-and I got so frustrated that I just... I lashed out.. That's not.. me.  I'm supposed to be Logic..! I'm supposed to be the rational, statistical, intellectual one... I know better than to freak out like that.."   Logan vented starting to get a little calmer as Virgil held him close.
Virgil carefully lead him over to one of Logan's favorite spots, the window seat, and then let Logan rest his head in his lap as Virgil stroked his hair.
"Logan.. Do you remember the day I finally confessed my feelings for you...?"  Virgil asked in a soft soothing voice.
"..Of course, it's the most cherished memory I have.. What about it?"  Logan said softly gazing up at Virgil.
"..I was risking my entire reputation and even my life by doing that, I defied my purpose. My purpose being fear. I wasn't afraid when I did that, and that means I could have faded away into nothingness."  Virgil said with a small sigh,
"...Why are you telling me this..?"  Logan asked.
"....Because I didn't risk my entire existence to watch you degrade yourself as if you were nothing."  Virgil said a little more firmly, but still in a sincere comforting manner.
Logan stayed silent for a moment before sighing.
"..Virgil...What if my.. anger.. causes you harm?"  Logan asked shakily.
"...Logan, I know who I fell in love with. And I know that he'd never hurt me."   Virgil said with a soft smile.
Logan went quiet again for a few seconds before a sad smile crept up to his lips.
"..That... That means a lot to me."  He said wanting to kiss him but not having the energy to sit up.
Virgil's soft smile grew into a cute chuckle,
"..And you mean a lot to me.  So don't bully yourself about it. I can't stand watching you break yourself down like that."  Virgil said honestly.
Logan nodded softly before thinking to himself.

Virgil would always tell Logan he loved him, but Logan would never let himself say it back.

"..Virgil?"  Logan said with a faint grin,

"..Yeah?"   Virgil replied rushing his fingers through his hair,
Logan paused for a moment.

"I love you."  Logan finally said in all sincerity.

Virgil's eyes widened, his cheeks darkened, and his jaw dropped a tiny bit,

"...Y-You do?"  He said in disbelief.

Logan nodded,
"Yes, my darling. I love you so much. Vee, you are the figurative light of my life, my metaphorical other half, and literally the most beautiful man I've ever seen."
