MY CAT IS A HUMAN (COMPLETE)

"Mall" CH.13

Rosé's POV:

I'm at the mall buying snacks, planning to go to Lisa's house. I'm worried for her because her boyfriend just cheated on her with a man—I still can't believe it.

Now, I'm heading to the fruit store because I'm craving some oranges. When I got to the fruit stand, I saw Lisa with someone. I ran to her, calling out, "LISA!" I shouted, and she stopped. I caught up with her, exhausted from running. While catching my breath, I looked at Lisa, but my eyes shifted to the girl beside her—wow, she looked cute and Gorgeous, even with  the sunglasses on. 

But still, Jisoo is much more beautiful for me. Snapping back to reality, I asked Lisa, "Who's this girl?" 

"Ah... she is Jennie," she said, stuttering. Hmm, kind of weird. 

"Wait, Jennie? She has the same name as your cat!" I spoke. 

"Ahh... yes, s-she does," Lisa stuttered again. Okay, that's double weird. 

"So, what are you doing here?" I changed the subject because talking about this girl felt a little off. 

"I'm buying groceries," Lisa replied. "You?" she asked back. 

"Oh, yeah, I'm buying snacks and planning to go to your apartment once I'm done here" I said. Her expression turned strange, almost like she didn't want me to come over, but she just said, "O-okay," with an awkward and nervous smile.

Then this girl stepped in front of me, looked into my eyes, and... sniffed me? What? Why is she smelling me? I thought to myself. Weird. Lisa quickly pulled her back to her side. What's going on? Something fishy is definitely happening. I'll just ask her when were already at her apartment.

After we both all we need in the mall, go to the parking lot and drove to her apartment, now we just got in her apartment putting all the food at the kitchen and directly sit on the living room. 

"So, Lisa, how are you feeling now that you know JK cheated on you, with actually a man?" I asked her seriously.

"I don't really know, Rosé," she said with a slightly hurt voice. "What do you mean you don't know, Lis? He cheated on you—WITH A MAN, LIS!" I exclaimed, my voice rising at the end.

"I really don't know. I was dealing with a really big problem," she replied. "What big problem? Isn't this a big problem to—your boyfriend cheating on you? For God's sake, Lis, what could possibly be bigger than your boyfriend cheating on you?" I asked as visible anger trace my voice.

"I... It's about Jennie," she stuttered. "What Jennie? Which Jennie are you talking about? Jennie your cat, or Jennie that is a human?" I asked her, confused. "Both!" she said, leaving me even more perplexed.

"Then what's the big problem between these two?" I asked.  "I'll tell you, but don't be to shock—and please believe me, okay?" she pleaded. What did she mean by that? "Then tell me now, Lis! I'm starting to die from cariousness out here!" I urged her.

"Jennie is Jennie!" she declared. "Wait, what? I don't understand," I said, utterly baffled. "Argh!" she groaned in frustration. I was still completely confused.

"It's really hard to put into words," she said, exasperated. My face was still in a ' I didn't get it look'. "Okay, it's like this: my cat Jennie is Jennie that you're looking at right now" she finally blurted out.

"Are you crazy because your boyfriend cheated on you with a man? and you became like this" I asked, facepalming. "No, I'm not! I'd never go crazy over man!" she said, clearly annoyed. 

"Then why are you saying so many impossible things?" I shot back. "Rosé, just listen to me for once! Stop talking about my ex-boyfriend and let me explain!" she begged. I sighed and said, "Okay."

Then Jennie took off her sunglasses, and I was shocked. Her eyes looked exactly like Lisa's cat's eyes. "Lisa, is this real? Her eyes—they're like your cat's eyes!" I asked in disbelief. "Yes, it's her real eye color. And she really is Jennie—my cat," Lisa confirmed.
