*At the park on Saturday*

Author's pov.

"Yo guys, what's our plan for summer break?" Seulgi asked her friends. "Hmm, I'm going home to Australia for summer break, but I'm not too sure about it," Rosé said, thinking if she would actually go back to Australia. "What? You're going home to Australia for summer break?" Seulgi exclaimed. "But not sure, actually," Rosé replied. "Ohhh," Seulgi said simply.

"How about you, Lisa?" Rosé asked Lisa. "Umm, I'm going back to Thailand, I think!" Lisa said, but she glanced at Jennie and wondered if she went to Thailand, then what about Jennie? "How about you, Bam?" Rosé asked Bambam. "I'm staying here in Korea, actually," Bambam replied. "I thought you were going back to Thailand with Lisa?" Jisoo asked. "Oh, my parents are in Korea now, so there's no need to go back to Thailand this year," Bambam answered. "Oh, that's why," Irene said.

"You, Jennie, are you going back to New Zealand?" Jisoo asked Jennie. Lisa looked at Jennie, and Jennie looked at Lisa, then Rosé looked from Jisoo to Jennie and Lisa. The three were a little bit worried about what Jennie would say. Then Jennie thought of something. "Umm, no, I'm staying here in Korea!" Jennie said, lying because she had never actually been to New Zealand since she was a cat.

Jennie's pov.

Phew, that was close! Thank goodness I thought of something quickly. When I looked at Lisa and Rosé, they just smiled, probably relieved. I think they were also a little startled by Jisoo's question. Thank goodness our friends didn't ask anything else.

Author's pov. 

After hanging out in the park, they went to the coffee shop and stayed there for a while. Rosé took the lead and opened the coffee shop door. Once they were inside, they saw Yheri at the counter. Everyone's eyes widened in shock, except for Rosé, who already knew that Yheri had two jobs. Yheri owned a restaurant at the mall and the coffee shop they were in now. She worked there because her parents were busy handling their other businesses.

They all found their seats and sat down, waiting for the waiter. A few minutes later, the waiter arrived—it was Yheri. "Hi guys, what can I get you?" Yheri said with a smile, and everyone smiled back, though Jisoo only managed a small smile. Every time she saw Yheri, Jisoo felt uneasy. It wasn't that she disliked Yheri, but she didn't like how close Yheri was with Rosé. Jisoo didn't realize yet that she had feelings for Rosé.

Rosé's POV:

Is Jisoo okay? It's weird that she's so quiet now—at the park, she seemed fine. "Hey Lis, what happened to Jisoo?" I asked Lisa, who was sitting beside me, with Jennie on her other side. "Ahh, I don't know!" Lisa replied, but the look on her face made me think she did know something. I shrugged off the thought and focused on our food. We finished ordering, and a little while later, Yheri came back with another waiter. Yep, we ordered a lot today. They brought our food and left, except for Yheri, who sat beside me.

Lisa's POV:

After we finished at the coffee shop, we all went home. Now I'm lying in bed, and Jennie is already asleep. I've been thinking about summer break—I'm planning to go back to Thailand, and of course, I'll bring Jennie with me. I'll just tell my parents she's my friend and is spending her summer break in Thailand. Minutes passed as I kept thinking, and I slowly started feeling sleepy. I got comfortable in bed, closed my eyes, and drifted off to dreamland. Zzzzzzzz.
