Jennie's POV.

I'm walking down the hallway on my way to Senior Kai's office when I notice a room with a sign that says, "Photography Club." I remember it's Lisa's club, so I take a peek inside. Looking around, I spot her talking happily with a guy. They seem really close, and that sight sends a pang through my heart. Just seeing her so cheerful with him makes me feel hurt, annoyed, and irritated. I can't understand why I'm feeling this way.

I shake off my emotions and continue walking to where I need to be. When I reach Senior Kai's office, I knock on the door, and he opens it with a smile. Although I'm not in the mood to smile, I force a small one. He invites me in, saying, "Please have a seat, Jennie," with another smile. As he sits down, he asks, "So, what can I do for you, Jennie?" I respond, "Am I on the list, Senior Kai?" He smiles and replies, "Yes, you are. You're one of the contestants now, Jennie." I smile back at him, feeling a bit better.

After a few minutes of talking, we're walking down the hallway together. My irritation has faded, and I feel more at ease after our conversation. I snap back to reality when he says, "Hey, Jen, just call me Kai, okay? It's too much when you call me Senior Kai all the time." I nod and smile.

As we pass the Photography Club again, the earlier scene flashes in my mind, leaving me slightly annoyed. We head to the canteen since it's break time. When we arrive, a lot of students greet Senior Kai enthusiastically. He's so well-respected and clearly very popular. Being the Ace of the basketball team only adds to his fame, and I notice the adoring eyes of girls as we walk by. I still can't believe I'm talking to someone so admired.

Lisa's POV.

While talking to my cousin Bambam, I saw Jennie walking with our senior. I felt annoyed again just by looking at them, so I ignored them and turned my attention back to Bambam.

And yes, I have a cousin here at our school. He's a new transfer; he just arrived last week. He likes photography and dancing too—of course, it runs in our blood, hehe. Bambam and I are planning to go to the canteen since it's break time for us.

We have a big project going on here for the festival, which is why we're here. I'm still the president of the Photography Club, so I'm really a busy person whenever there's an occasion at school.
