"Jealousy That Didn't Know"CH.36

Rosé's POV:

We were all in the canteen, kind of confused because Jennie and Lisa were acting weirder than yesterday. They didn't talk to each other or even make eye contact at all, except for one moment when they accidentally looked at each other.

The bell rang, and we went back to the classroom, but those two still didn't say a single word to each other. When class started, Jennie and Lisa were unusually focused and didn't even blink. What the heck is wrong with those two?

Earlier, when Lisa and Jennie were in the canteen, they were with a senior named Kai. I'm not sure of his name, but he looked familiar. After chatting, the two gentlemen said goodbye and went to their respective tables with their friends.

After our morning classes ended, it was afternoon, so we didn't have any more classes since we needed to practice for the festival. We went to the gym and started our usual routine. Suddenly, the gym door opened, and a man walked in.

Oh, it was the same guy Lisa was with in the canteen! He smiled at us and said hi. But when I glanced at Jennie, her eyes showed she was annoyed, though she tried not to show outwardly.

Jennie looked at him with annoyance and then said she was going to the toilet. We just nodded as she walked away. Lisa smiled at us and said, "Hey guys, I have an announcement! Here's our new teammate." She pointed to the man standing beside her. We clapped and smiled at him.

"And this is actually my cousin! He just transferred here last week. His name is BamBam," Lisa said. I was shocked—that's why he looked familiar! I'd seen him in an old family photo at Lisa's apartment. They were so young in that picture that I couldn't recognize him now since he's all grown up.

"Hi Bam, my name is Rosé, Lisa's best friend," I said as we shook hands and smiled at each other. "Oh, I've heard a lot about you from Lisa. She talks about you sometimes," he said to me. of course, Lisa can't forget me I'm her beautiful and hot best friend, I thought to myself with a laugh.

Jennie's POV.

I was in the toilet, just sitting there, feeling annoyed with that man. Ugh, I don't know why, but I don't like him at all, but he has a small familiar scent of him I don't know where it so vivid maybe it was a long time ago that I have smelt before, that but I don't care anymore. When I decided to head back to the gym, I walked down the hallway and noticed someone familiar in the empty clubroom. There were two students, a man and a woman.

As I got closer, I saw Senior Kai talking to a beautiful woman. She was sitting on the teacher's table, and Senior Kai was standing very close to her—too close. He leaned in even more, their faces almost touching. Senior Kai smirked and slammed his lips onto the woman's. She smiled as they kissed.

Senior Kai kissed her aggressively, moving down to her neck, but I couldn't watch anymore. I quietly sneaked away, crawling to avoid being seen. Once I was far enough from the clubroom, I ran to the gym. Before opening the door, I took a moment to calm myself down.

When I entered, I saw everyone happily chatting with that man. "Jen, why so late to come back you missed the fun," Seulgi said to me. "Yeah, Jen, why did you take so long, by the way?" Jisoo asked. "Ah, I just ran into a friend of mine and talked for a bit," I lied.

"Oh, by the way, this is BamBam," Irene said, pointing at the guy. So, his name is BamBam. I looked at him, and he just smiled at me. I gave him a small smile back.
