"Same Name" CH.15

Lisa's POV.

After that long explanation and that day Rosé got home, she couldn't believe it at first, but eventually, she did. It was truly impossible to believe such things.

Now, I'm here in my room, lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling, while Jennie is in the bathroom taking a half bath.

I'm waiting for her to finish, and she finally comes out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. I hand her the clothes she'll wear.

I head into the bathroom and take a half bath. After finishing, I wrap myself with a towel and step out.

As soon as I come out of the bathroom, Jennie jumps at me, hugs me, and smells me. She always does this every time I come out of the bathroom. I think I have to get used to this.

Every time she does this, it feels kind of weird but comfortable at the same time. I stop Jennie from hugging me and head to my dressing room to get dressed.

When I come out of the dressing room, Jennie is already sleeping soundly, but not too loudly. I sit on my bed, ready to sleep. First, I cover Jennie with my big blanket and share it with her.

I stare at Jennie; she's so mesmerizing. While I'm mesmerized by her beauty, she suddenly opens her eyes slightly, hugs me, and falls asleep again.

I was a bit taken aback by her actions, but I hugged her back and eventually fell asleep. We spent the entire night hugging each other and sleeping peacefully again.

Morning came, and I had to go to school. I left Jennie in charge of the apartment and drove my car to the school's parking lot. Once I arrived, I headed to the canteen, where I saw Chea and Seulgi with Jisoo and Irene talking together.

I approached our table and greeted them with a "Hi." Rosé looked at me and asked, "How is Jennie?" Noticing the slight dark circles under her eyes, I replied, "Ahh, she's okay." Seulgi, looking confused, asked, "What happened to Jennie?" 

"Ahh, nothing. She's just a little sick," I said nervously, trying to laugh it off. Seulgi made an 'O' face (・o・). 

"Who's Jennie?" Jisoo asked. "She's Lisa's cat!" Seulgi answered. "Ahh, she has the same name as my little sister Jennie," Jisoo said. "Really? She does?" Seulgi, Rosé, and I exclaimed simultaneously.

"Yes, but her full name is Jennie Ruby Kim," Irene added. "What a coincidence that they share the same name!" Seulgi remarked.

"So, Jisoo, where is your little sister?" Rosé asked. Before answering, Jisoo and Irene exchanged a glance, their eyes reflecting sadness. "My sister disappeared 15 years ago," Jisoo said with a sorrowful expression and tone.

"Oh... ahh, Jisoo, Irene, we didn't know. Sorry," Rosé said while stuttering, her eyes filled with sympathy. Jisoo and Irene smiled faintly, though their eyes seemed to carry the weight of a painful memory.

"It's okay. We're fine," they reassured us, though their smiles lacked their usual brightness. We shifted the conversation to another topic and, after a long chat, headed to our classroom.

After the long day of classes, we went home. However, Rosé wanted to discuss something, so we headed to my apartment to talk.
