"Oh, the rain stopped," Lisa said as she stood up and got ready to go home. But as she walked to the door, she felt someone was following her.
It was a little white, cute cat trailing behind her. She thought for a moment and remembered how much she had wanted a pet cat for a long time.
She decided to keep the little cat as her pet. Picking it up, she walked home. When she entered the house, her mum was shocked to see her daughter holding a cat with strange-colored eyes. "Lisa! Where did this cat come from?" her mum asked. "Oh, I found her in the abandoned house. She was so lonely, so I brought her home. You know I've wanted a cat for a long time now, Mum," Lisa said, pouting. "Mum, please, can we keep her? Please?" Lisa pleaded cutely.
Her mum, still shocked at hearing about the abandoned house, hesitated. Many people in the neighborhood knew the house belonged to the Kim's, a powerful and rich family who disappeared after their daughter went missing. Since then, no one dared to go near the house because of rumors of dark magic. After thinking for a moment, her mum shrugged off the rumors and said, "You can keep the cat, but be responsible, okay?"
Hearing her mother's approval, Lisa jumped with joy. "Thank you, Mum!" she said with a wide smile. "You're welcome, my little baby," her mum replied with a smile.
After their talk, Lisa went to her room. She took a quick bath, dressed in her favorite pajamas, and lay on her bed, thinking about what she should name the cat. As she held the cat, her fingers brushed against its collar. She looked closer and saw a key attached with the name "Jennie" carved on it, along with a letter "K" on the back of the key. Suddenly, Lisa wondered if Jennie already had an owner. She really wanted a pet.
So, she decided to keep Jennie. She took the collar, placed it in a little box, and put it in her cabinet. She thought Jennie was a nice, cute, and beautiful name.
"It suits the cat perfectly. So, Jennie it is," she said to herself, smiling brightly. She was so happy to have a cat now and promised herself to take care of Jennie forever and ever.
From that day on, Jennie and Lisa were inseparable. They played together, stuck by each other's side, and even bathed together sometimes. Lisa loved Jennie so much, and Jennie loved Lisa too.
