Jennie's POV:
"Jisoo, where did Lisa and Rosé go?" I asked Jisoo, who was sitting right beside me while I played with Leo. Yes, I know Leo because he was like my brother when I was a cat, and I think he knows I'm Jennie the cat. When we first entered the room, all the cats came near me, but now I can't talk to them anymore, and I can't understand them either. I think they don't understand me either. "I don't know either, Jen," Jisoo said.
So, we left the room and decided to ask Lisa's parents. We headed to the kitchen and saw them there. They looked at us. "What can I do for you girls?" Mrs. Manoban asked. "Do you need food, girls?" Mr. Manoban asked. "Oh, we don't need food, Uncle, but thanks. We were just going to ask if you know where Lisa and Rosé went?" Jisoo asked. "Oh, I don't know, really, but I heard them mention going to the abandoned house!" Mr. Manoban said.
""What old house, uncle?" Jisoo asked.
"Oh, the old house of the Kims!" Mr. Manoban said again.
"Kims?" Jisoo asked once more, her eyes wide and her tone slightly higher, making us all look at her.
"Hey, Jisoo? Why are you so shocked about it?" I asked her.
"Oh, I-it's nothing," Jisoo stammered, acting a bit strange.
"Sorry about that, auntie and uncle. We'll just head to the guest room. I think Jisoo's a little off today; she might need some rest," I said, apologizing to them.
"Okay, I think she really does need some rest," Auntie said with worried eyes, and Uncle seemed concerned too. We walked away to the guest room.
I helped her sit on the bed before sitting down myself. "Jisoo, what happened back there?" I asked, my face full of concern, but she just stared at the floor.
"Jisoo-yah, hey!" I said again, shaking her gently.
"It's nothing," Jisoo replied, and that was all she said.
"Jisoo, you can tell me anything. If you don't want to, it's fine," I said and stood up, ready to leave to give her some space. But suddenly, she spoke up.
"Okay, I'm going to tell you," she said, still looking at the floor. I went back and sat beside her again.
"So, what is it?" I asked, and she finally looked at me.
"I... I think I know that abandoned house," Jisoo said. My eyes widened. How would she know that house? Wait, did Mr. Manoban say Kim's house? Jisoo's last name is Kim. Could she know who owns that abandoned house?
"Why would you know that house? Did you go there?" I asked her.
"Yes, I did go there! And the reason I know that place is because I'm the daughter of the owner of that place. We used to live there a long time ago, but we left that house after!" Jisoo said, taking a little breath. "After what, Jisoo?" I asked her. "After what happened to my little sister," she said, and I saw the sadness in her eyes. Those eyes looked so familiar, but I couldn't remember where or when I had seen them.
"What happened to your little sister?" I asked, feeling pain in my heart just by seeing her like that. I didn't know why, but I felt like I had seen or met her a long time ago, though I couldn't remember. "S... she disappeared 15 years ago," Jisoo said, and tears started running down her face. I wiped them away and hugged her. "It's going to be okay, Jisoo. I think she's okay and well, so don't worry," I said in a soft voice.
