"Jennie Park"CH.16

At Lisa's apartment.

Lisa's POV.

"Hey, Lis, you can't always leave Jennie in your apartment forever. She'll do this again!" Rosé said.

We were now discussing about Jennie because she almost ran out of the building, and thank God, we caught her in time. When we came out of the elevator, she was standing right beside it on our floor. So, thankfully, we were there in time. Now, Rosé and I can't decide yet what to do with Jennie as she sits there playing with her hair.

We're in my living room, and an idea pops into my head. "Rosé, I think I know what to do with her!" I said to her with a bright expression.

*The next day at school*

(In the classroom)

"Okay, class, I have an announcement to make, so listen up!" our teacher said. Rosé and I exchanged looks and smiled, though there was a hint of worry in our eyes.

"Listen, class, as you know, two students transferred into our class last week. But now, we have another new student joining us," the teacher continued. 

"I'd like you to meet Miss Jennie Park as your new classmate." Rosé and I were intensely watching Jennie, smiling. 

Rosé and I had discussed that we couldn't leave Jennie alone at home anymore because it was too dangerous for her. And yes, we added "Park" to her name because she didn't have a last name. I couldn't give her mine since she doesn't speak Thai completely, she only understands a little.

"Hi, my name is Jennie Park. Nice to meet you all," she said with her gummy smile, making all my classmates go wild. Here we go again!

Rosé and I had taught her how to introduce herself. "Okay, Jennie, you can sit next to Lisa since she doesn't have a partner yet," the teacher said. Jennie walked to my table, sat beside me, and smiled her gummy smile at me. She's too cute I wish I can pitch her cheeks right now. After class ended, we all headed to the canteen with Jennie.

Jennie clung to my arm because she was kind of shy and scared since a lot of people were staring at her as we walked to the canteen, and even inside the canteen too.

she's famous now, haha! We're sitting at our table in the canteen when Seulgi asked, "Hey Lisa and Rosé, why are you two so close to Jennie?" Rosé then lied, "Ah, she's my cousin actually." We kind of fixed a little backstory for Jennie—she's Rosé's cousin who just came back from New Zealand.

"Yes, she's her cousin, and she just came back from New Zealand," I added. Seulgi, pretending to be hurt and said, "Then why didn't I know? You easily forgot me I'm hurt? I'm your best friend too, Rosé!" We just laughed at her antics.

We had a wonderful chat, lots of laughter, and an overall great day without homework's.

(Flashback to Lisa's apartment)

"Rosé, I think I know what to do!" Lisa exclaimed, while Rosé looked at her with a confused expression.

"How about we make Jennie a student at our school? That way, we can watch over her and take care of her at the same time," Lisa suggested.

"But I need your big help with this, Rosé," Lisa said as Rosé remained slightly confused.

"We should create a fake background for Jennie, like giving her a last name—yours!" Lisa proposed. "Wait, what? You want me to give her a fake background and use my last name?" Rosé questioned. "Yes, because I can't give her my last name, Manoban, since she doesn't know how to speak Thai, fluently and completely" Lisa explained. "Wait, you said you found Jennie in Thailand? Why can't she speak Thai completely?" Rosé asked.

"Because she understands it but doesn't speak the language completely, duh. And she's actually a Korean cat," Lisa said to Rosé with attitude.

"Okay, okay, fine. I'll give her my last name, but I'll have to fake her other background too," Rosé agreed.

"And we have to change her eyes. She has a really unique eye color. Since she's really your cat, she should wear black contact lenses. I'll get everything else she needs ready, okay?" Rosé added. she's really cool right now but I won't say it she already has a lot of confidence in her head; I don't want her to be over confidence it would be a big disaster hahaha.
