*The next day*

Lisa's POV.

I'm at the library studying for our upcoming test while all my friends are at the canteen, just chilling there. I'm the only one who hasn't studied yet. Even Jennie studied, and I didn't know! Huhuhu, it's really boring here, but I have to study. That's the whole reason I'm here in the first place. With determination, I continue my studies.

After a few hours of studying, I decide to take a break. I plan to go to the canteen. While walking and looking outside the school, I see someone familiar in the garden. When I look closer, it's Jennie. My eyes widen when I realize who she's with—it's not one of our friends.

That guy looks so familiar. Have I seen him somewhere in our school? I think he's one of our seniors because of his uniform. My eyes widen again when I see Jennie giving her gummy smile to that guy. I feel irritated and annoyed at the same time I don't know why but I'm pissed off. Arghh.

I just walk away from the scene. While walking, I suddenly realize I'm at the door of the canteen. I go in and see my friends happily talking. I walk up to them and sit down. Seulgi says, "What's up?" but I don't feel like talking to them. I ignore her, close my eyes, and lay my head on my arms.

Rosé's POV.

When Lisa arrived, she looked really angry and annoyed about something. She even ignored Seulgi, me, and everyone else. She just sat there with her head resting on her arms the whole time. Hmm, something seems off about her. I'm the only one who knows her better than anyone. A few minutes later, Jennie came back.

I know where she was—she was talking to our senior Kai because she's planning to join the talent show for the upcoming festival. Senior Kai is in charge of the festival talent show. I know we entered the talent show as a group, but Jennie seems to be planning something else. I think I overheard her saying she's preparing a solo song.

Jennie sat beside me while Lisa sat next to Seulgi. "Hey, Rosé, what happened to Lisa?" Jennie whispered to me. "Ahh, I don't know actually. When she got here, she was already like that," I replied. "Oh," Jennie said with worried eyes, glancing at Lisa.

I'm worried about Lisa too. Hmm, I better ask her if I get a chance to talk to her alone. It was almost time for our dance practice, so we headed to the gym and got ready. First, we warmed up for a few minutes before practicing our routine together.

While we were dancing, Lisa seemed kind of gloomy, so we decided to take a break. I grabbed Lisa's hand and led her backstage. "Hey, monkey, what's wrong with you?" I asked softly, my voice full of concern.

"I'm fine, chipmunk," she said with a small smile. "Lis, I know something's bothering you that you're not telling me," I said worriedly. "I'm just tired from studying an hour straight, that's all, Chae," she replied. I think she's not ready to talk about her problem yet.

"Okay, but don't study too much. It's not good for your health, Lis," I said to her. I know there's still something bothering her, but I'll wait until she's ready to tell me. "Okay, chipmunk," she said with another small smile.

We returned to our group and resumed practice. I kept an eye on Lisa and noticed she was ignoring Jennie. She was avoiding her and barely talking to her like she used to. Something is definitely going on.
