"Jealous Cat" CH.22

It's Friday morning, 5:30 AM. 

Lisa wakes up and looks at the sleeping girl beside her. She still can't believe that this beautiful girl used to be her cat. It's been half a month since Jennie turned into a human, and Lisa is still wondering why her cat transformed into such a stunning girl. There must be a reason behind it.

Lisa heads to the bathroom to take a bath. After finishing, she puts on her dancing clothes. Meanwhile, Jennie wakes up, and as she opens her eyes, she sees Lisa dressed and notices her abs. Jennie is stunned by the sight so early in the morning.

Once Lisa finishes her morning routine of cooking and other tasks, Jennie is ready to go. They head to the building's parking lot and drive themselves to school.

When they arrive at school, they head straight to the dance room, where they see their friends warming up.

Lisa POV.

"Oh, hey, guys," I greeted as I started warming up too. "Hi, guys," Jennie said with a smile. I think Jennie is getting the hang of being human now, which is great. "Oh, hi, guys, make sure to warm up before we start, okay?" Rosé reminded us, and we nodded in agreement.

"Lisa, I don't know how to warm up," Jennie whispered to me, her voice low enough that only I could hear. She seemed a bit embarrassed about it, so I decided to help her out. "I'll teach you then" I said softly.

"Just follow my movement, okay?" I told her. "Okay," she replied, and we began warming up. She followed my movements perfectly without a single mistake—was she some kind of a pro? She follows up so quickly. After warming up, we moved on to practice our dance for the school fair. That we are all performing together.

"Wow, Jennie, you're really good at dancing!" Seulgi exclaimed, her eyes filled with amazement. "I thought this was your first time dancing?" Irene asked. "Umm, not really, Seulgi" Jennie replied shyly. "And yeah, Irene, it's my first time dancing," she added, looking a little embarrassed.

Our friends were stunned by how good Jennie was at dancing despite it being her first time. Honestly, I was amazed too. "I just like the beat; and follow it. I'm just moving with the rhythm," Jennie explained, and wow, she really had a natural good hearing of the beat of the music. "Oh, hello, guys," Nancy suddenly said as she arrived out of nowhere. She came so fast I didn't even see her approach. When I glanced at my friends, their expressions shifted—they clearly didn't seem to like Nancy. Then I noticed Jennie looking angry. Oh no, this isn't good.

"O-oh, hi Nancy," I said, knowing my friends didn't want to talk to her at all. "Why are you here?" I asked. "Just hanging out with you guys," she replied with a smile, clinging to my arm. My god, she clung to me again—my cat would be so angry and jealous again. I glanced at Jennie, and her eyes turned cold as ice. Here it is, she's starting to act cold ahh I don't want his. I shrugged Nancy's arm off and walked over to Jennie, holding her hand. That was better—I felt calmer.

"Ahh, Nancy, we're about to go to lunch," I said. My friends' eyes screamed, "Good one, Lisa." They clearly wanted Nancy to leave, and maybe even me too since this cat was still mad. "Oh, really? Can I join you?" Nancy asked. My god, why is she making this so difficult? I think I'm starting to hate her. "Sorry, Nancy, you can't. We have other plans for our group," I said, trying to stay cool despite my growing annoyance.

"Oh, really? Then maybe next time we could go out together," she said in a flirty tone. "Oh, sorry. We have other plans next time too," Jennie said coldly. Our friends were shocked by how icy her voice was, but I wasn't—it's just how she acts sometimes, though usually in a cute way with me. "Tsk I'm not taking to you, so Lisa, can I join you then next time?" she said to Jennie and shift to me, grabbing my hands. "Sorry, we have team plans and can't be disturbed by other teams like yours," I said, shrugging her hands off, to be honest I got annoyed how her tone was to Jennie.

As we left the gym, my friends gave Nancy disgusted looks—even Jennie joined in. It was honestly pretty funny. Hahaha! Nancy's irritated expression made it even better, and my friends burst into laughter as got outside of the dance room. Hahaha! Even Jennie and I couldn't help but laugh along. Hahaha!
