It's Monday, and I'm ready to stop avoiding Jisoo. I'm still at Lisa's apartment, brushing my hair and putting on some makeup, including a bit of lipstick and lip gloss. I gathered my things while Jennie and Lisa were chatting in the living room. Jennie and I are now best friends—she knows me so well. She told me that she was always watching me back when she was a cat. She cared for me, just like Lisa did. She was there when I was at my lowest, and she knows me even better than I know myself.
She even knows this isn't my first heartbreak. I remember now—she was there as a cat when I had my first heartbreak and during my family problems too.
We went down to the parking lot of Lisa's building. Jennie and I followed Lisa to her car. I sat in the backseat while Jennie and Lisa were in the front, with Lisa driving, of course. After a few minutes, we arrived at the school parking lot and got out.
As we walked to the canteen, I noticed people staring at me. I mean, I get it—I'm pretty, hehehe. I realized how confident I am now. Yeah, I'm sexy and pretty at the same time of coure hehehe.
When we arrived at the canteen, people were looking at me again, even our friends, and Jisoo glanced at me too. I'm not the old Rosé Park anymore. I walked confidently, with Lisa and Jennie behind me. I sat beside Irene, while Jennie and Lisa sat on the other side with Seulgi.
"Sup, Rosé! You got a new hair color, it suits you," Seulgi complemented me putting a thumbs up. "Sup, hahaha, I know right" I replied confidently. "Wow, Rosé, you seem more confident than usual. You're not the same Rosé we used to know, Rosé 2.0," Irene said to me and smiled proudly. "Hahaha, maybe, but I'm still the same Rosé you know on the inside," I told them. "Rosé, a lot of students are looking at you! You're like the new rising star of the campus. Can I take a picture with you? Hahaha," Lisa joked, and we all laughed at her exaggerating comment.
I felt someone kicked my foot twice and saw Jennie looking at me, pointing her lips towards Jisoo. Oh, I think I know what she means—I should talk to Jisoo. But Jisoo seemed a bit gloomy, even though she kept smiling. "Ah, Jisoo?" I said to her, but I couldn't think of what to say next. I glanced at her hand and noticed an apple. Oh, now I know! She looked at me, shocked.
Yeah, she was taken back as I was the first one to talked to her in seven days. "Are you going to eat that apple?" I asked, laughing nervously. I couldn't think of anything else to say. Our friends were busy chatting with each other. "No," she replied. "So, can I have it then?" I spoke. She nodded, and I smiled at her. She smiled back, not a gloomy smile, but a one relief smile.
I started talking a little with Jisoo, but to be honest, I still have feelings for her. When I look at her, my heart still skips a beat for her. I pretend that I've moved on, but I haven't at all. Who would think moving on is simple like when a friend would say 'just move on' you would automatically move on with that, it's not easy than you would say it.
