Chapter 15

After my dad left the room, I just continued to lay there and listen to music. I was no longer mad, but I just wanted to relax.

~Dean's POV~

I promised Alex I would talk to Sam about letting her hunt and I don't break my promises. I knew he was gonna yell at me, but I broke the comfortable silence to talk to him anyways.

"I know you're gonna fight me on this, but I think she should get to hunt with us."

"No Dean. I already told her no, and I meant it. Why are you suddenly taking her side?"

"Because I remembered a certain person wanted to hunt and we originally said no then changed our minds. You can't protect her from everything Sam. It should be her choice. We can train her." I said, trying my best to be convincing.

"I suppose that's true. Her mom did want to hunt, and we eventually let her, but she's gonna get hurt."

"We get hurt all the time Sammy."

" Yeah, but that's not my daughter."

"Yeah, but you're my little brother. I worry about you on every hunt, but that doesn't stop me from letting you hunt."

"I suppose you have a point. I guess she can have a choice." Sam said " ugh. Why do I feel like this is a bad idea?"

~Alex's POV~

Both Dean and my dad came into my room at the same time. I was fearful of a lecture about something I did wrong, although I couldn't think of anything.

"Sup guys?" I asked cautiously and fearfully.

"Um, Dean and I were talking, and we decided..... You can hunt with us." My dad said. I started getting excited and a huge smile crossed my face. "If..." He started again. "And only if you do your training correctly, and you follow our rules."

"Yes, yes! Yay! Thank you, thank you, thank you." I said as I hugged my dad. He walked out the room, and Dean started heading after him."Dean, wait." I said, getting up. "Thank you for talking to him. I know he didn't want to let me." I said as I wrapped him in a hug.

"You're welcome. Training starts tomorrow by the way." He said. I nodded, and we walked out to join Sam.
