In the morning, I woke up around 11:00. As much as I slept the day before, I must have still been tired. I walked out of my room.

"So, do you want to get this transfer over with?" I asked.

"If you're ready to. I'm not rushing you though."

"Let's just do it." I just wanted to get it and passing out over with. My dad and I walked into the panic room and sat at the table. He did the usual- slowly pushing the syringe into the vain as deep as possible and getting some of my blood. But here's where it got interesting. I didn't pass out that time. Once he pulled the syringe out and put the towel on my arm, I stayed conscious.

"Dad, why am I still conscious? This is weird." I asked, concerned.

"I don't know. Maybe your body is getting used to me doing this. Maybe it's cause we are getting close to being done with these. I don't know. It's a good thing though. I can promise you that much."

"Ok. I'm glad I didn't pass out. I'm tired of it."

"I'm sure you are." He chuckled back.

"So what do we do for today?" I asked

"Let's stay here and do something."

"Ok. What should we do?" I asked.

"Let's play a game or something." My dad said

"Ok. How about a board game? I saw a couple in the closet in my room. I don't know what you have, but I'm sure one is fun."

"We don't have any board games. What are you talking about Alex?" Dean asked. We walked to my closet and I pointed them out. My dad grabbed them since he was the only one tall enough to reach them. We dusted them off. Then I saw it. Risk. I loved that game. My parents never did much with me, but I had one good memory of playing that with them.

"I love this game. Let's play this one!" I said excitedly.

"We've never played this one. How do you play?"

"I haven't played in years. You haven't played before? It's one of the few good memories from being with my other parents. I don't remember all the rules." We put it down at the table and my dad pulled out the lengthy instruction booklet and began reading. Dean and I sat there waiting for him to finish and give us the summary.

"Sam, come on. Hurry up. We can just figure it out as we go."

"No Dean. I'm reading them all the way through."

"Ugh, you know sometimes I hate that genius law school brain of yours."

"Well sometimes I hate that stupid little impatient drunk brain of yours." They teased back and forth for a good 5 minutes. I just sat there and laughed. I was laughing so hard as they went at it playfully insulting each other that they asked what was wrong.

"What's wrong Alex?"

"You guys are hilarious. Seeing you two tease each other is just as fun as playing this game." I said, feeling another wave of laughter coming.
"Guys, can we play now before I laugh until I can't breathe?" I said as I laughed once more.

"Yeah. I just finished reading them. It's pretty simple." He explained all the instructions, and we started. It was fairly simple. Basically take turns and occupy countries and you win by taking over everything. Dean started and quickly occupied a major country. My dad occupied a minor country. We went around the table a few times each of us getting a few countries here and there. Then it was my turn again. I was a lucky roller. I took over one of Dean's major countries.

"You can't do that! That was my country!" Dean shouted.

"Yeah I can. It says so in the rules."

"Let me see them."
