I knocked on Sam's door. I was just going to walk in, but he opened it before my hand even made it to the doorknob. Once he saw it was me, he tried to shut the door, but I stopped it.

"Sammy. Just hear me out."

"Just go away Dean."

"Please. Just listen. I'm not gonna yell at you."

"Fine." He said and nodded

"Look, I don't usually do this, but I want to apologize. You were completely right." He looked at me confused. "Everything you said about me was true. I was partly trying to get her to keep her powers so that I wouldn't be the only one suffering. I also did that so that I could have someone to hope in. I don't have hope left in me Sam. I can barely fight the mark on our hunts. I figured if she could learn to control her powers, I can have hope in her."

"Dean, Alex and I have hope in you. We believe you can control this mark. You are strong. You will get through this. And I totally understand why you did that to her. I'm pissed, just like I was last night, but if you hadn't simply walked off, we would have worked it out."

"I know you guys believe in me, and I appreciate that, but it's hard when you can't believe in yourself. You guys aren't feeling this. You don't know what it's like to try to be in control and then suddenly, it lets loose and you can't do anything about it. And I know I shouldn't have just walked off. I just didn't want to admit what you and Alex said were true. I'm sorry Sam."

"You're right, I don't know exactly what that's like, but it's similar to my demon blood stuff. I know it sucks, but you just need to always keep fighting. We really do believe in you.... Don't beat yourself up about walking away last night. I get it Dean. Believe me. I do. Have you talked to Alex yet?"

"Yeah. Just a little bit ago. She forgives me. Don't worry, I told her to give up her powers. I know it was selfish to try to get her to keep them."

"Good."

"Uh Sam?"

"Yeah?"

"Are we good? Like do you forgive me? You can be pissed and still forgive me."

"Yes. We're fine Dean. I forgive you. Just try to have a little faith in yourself. You are such a strong person and hunter. You'll get through all this." I just nodded and left.
