Dean was sitting on the couch looking just about the saddest I've ever seen him. I placed my hand on his shoulder and pulled him out of his own thoughts.
"Dean, he's awake, and he's ok. He has a concussion and he's a little banged up, but he's alright." He just nodded. "What's wrong Dean? Neither of you did anything wrong. You can't possibly think this was your fault."
"No, It's not that Alex. I just don't want to lose Sammy again. You sure he's ok, and he doesn't just seem like he's gonna be fine?"
"Yes Dean. He's fine. Why would he seem ok and then not be?"
"I'll tell you later, or Sam will tell you. Just not now." He said. I was confused, but I let it go. He went out to Sam and I took his place on the couch just trying to figure out what the heck that lady was and what she could do. We let Sam rest for the rest of the day and brought him food, which surprisingly, he ate every time considering how bad he must have felt.
"Hey Dad?" I said while I was sitting beside him.
"Yeah Alex?" He said groggily since his head was still spinning.
"Can I room with you tonight? I want to make sure you are ok for both Dean and I's sake, and also you and I don't really talk much."
"Sure. I can't guarantee I'll be up for talking a lot, but yes, you can stay with me."
"Ok. I'll let you rest now." I said and handed him some anti-dizzy pills to help him with the dizziness from his concussion.
"Thanks." He said before downing the pills and falling asleep again.
