We got our gear and headed out. We climbed into the impala. It was a quick drive, but I sat there just thinking. I finally felt like not only were there no more secrets, but I felt like I was officially a part of this family and realized I always had been. I was happy for once in a long time.

We pulled up to the crime scene. It was a gruesome thing to see. Blood was everywhere. I was continuously looking at Dean since at the last vamp case, things didn't work out too well.

"I promise you I'm fine Alex." He said picking up on the fact I kept looking at him, but said it as if he was confused as to why I was looking at him. I nodded. We got out of the impala and were about to go in and gank some vamps, when suddenly Crowley appears in front of us.

"We need to talk." He said, sort of frantically. We walked over to the car.

"What do you want Crowley?"

"These powers are getting so much stronger than any of us imagined. Sometimes I just go on a rampage and can't control it. Sort of like the mark, but not exactly. It's too much. I've never felt, let alone seen powers this strong. They are stronger than even what my mom can do, and my mom is a witch. You need to find out how she got them, why she has them, and who her parents were. I can't live like this. Just figure this out!" He shouted before disappearing. The guys looked at me.

"I promise I don't know."

"We know." My dad said "I just wanted to make sure you were ok. I know bringing up all of this upsets you."

"I'm fine. Let's go kill some vamps." They nodded in agreement and we went to work. We went inside the building and started slashing them down one by one. Dean restrained for the most part. The mark didn't kick in, and he was fine. I, however, went around killing vamps like there was no tomorrow. I just kept going. I didn't feel anything, I just kept cutting and stabbing. I was in a sort of trance where I couldn't control myself. I came within inches of stabbing my dad in the chest when I came out of it. I made a cut, but nothing bad.

"Alex?" My dad said frightened. I dropped the blade and staggered backwards, nearly falling.

"I'm so sorry dad. I have no idea what that was."

"Hey, It's ok. It wasn't you. We'll figure this out. We always do." We walked back to the impala having finished the job. It was a pretty silent car ride.

"Guys, can I ask a question?"

"Yeah of course." They said

"Is there any chance I have a tiny bit of my powers left?"

"I took them all out in the transfer."

"Well Crowley said he's been having the same thing happen to him. Is there any chance it could be slightly genetic so I would have traces?"

"I don't think so. Neither your mom nor I have these powers, and Dean wasn't born with it, so I can't be a carrier of effects from the mark."

"What about my mom's family? You told me once you don't know much about her family."

"I don't know. We can do some digging."

"Ok." I said before letting out a sigh and leaning my head against the window.

We arrived back at the hotel, and when we opened the door, we all took a huge gasp. The hotel rooms were destroyed. Everything was torn and thrown everywhere. Someone had been looking for us, and when they didn't find us, they ransacked the place. Nothing was missing as far as we could tell. I went into my side and put my clothes back in my bag and everything else where it belonged. Then I saw it... The picture.
