"Hey Dean." I said. He gave me a look, and I knew exactly what he was silently asking. "He's fine." He nodded, relieved.

My dad put the bag on the table next to the rest of the ingredients.

"Did you get the root?" My dad asked Dean.

"Yep." He said as he placed it on the table. "What's left?"

"Just my blood." My dad responded

"What about the human blood?"

"Alex offered hers. We got it once you left."

"Oh. Thanks Alex."

"Of course. I wanted to help."

Dean passed my dad a bowl and my dad grabbed a blade, and slit his arm, grimacing a little as he did so. He got the blood we needed, and wrapped his arm in a towel.

"That's everything. Now we just need Crowley to get her into a devil's trap." Dean and I began painting a devil's trap both on the floor and the ceiling while my dad called Crowley.

"Moose. Do you have all the ingredients?"

"Yes. Now you hold up your end of this deal. Get her into our devil's trap and we will do the rest."

"Fine." Crowley hung up, and my dad rejoined us. Within a few minutes, Aura appeared in the devil's trap. My dad told me to go stay in the conjoined hotel room. I did as I was told. Dean started to mix the ingredients and my dad started saying the exorcism. Then I heard a noise that I didn't want to hear. I heard a loud slam of a body against a wall. I peeked out of the room and it was Dean's. he was unconscious. I ran out against my dad's wishes and finished mixing the ingredients while he finished the exorcism. I took the ingredients behind a dresser and mixed as fast as I could. He was almost done. Then, she started using that invisible force, and was lifting him up by the throat, choking him. Demon powers were supposed to be neutralized in a devil's trap, but she was definitely not some ordinary demon. He couldn't finish because he could no longer breathe enough to speak. I never thought everything I read about could come in handy, but it did. I had somehow committed to memory most of the exorcism from the books I read. He was on the last little bit of it. I kept mixing, and I struggled a little, but I remembered the words and I finished the exorcism while simultaneously stirring. Aura opened her mouth and "smoked out" as they say. This time was different. Her spirit disintegrated in midair before it could reach another person. She was gone. For good.

My dad fell to the ground, still conscious and breathing heavily. I couldn't bring myself to come out from behind the dresser.

"Alex. It's ok. She's dead for good." He said. I came out slowly and cautiously. He gave me a hug, and I desperately did not want to let go.

"Are you ok?" I asked him

"Yeah. You saved me. Thank you." I simply nodded, not sure what to say. We got Dean up and laid him on one of the beds. After a couple of hours, Dean finally woke up.

"Hey, how long have I been out? Where's Aura and Sam?" He asked me

"A couple hours. Aura is dead, and Sam is in the bathroom."

"Do you mean dead, dead? Like forever?"

"Yes. When you were thrown unconscious, I ran out and went behind a dresser with the stuff. I figured she couldn't do anything to me through that. Dad was almost killed though. She lifted him up by the neck with that invisible force. He couldn't finish the exorcism. I remembered enough from the books I read to finish for him, and so I did that and mixed at the same time, and she's dead." I explained. "Don't worry, he's totally fine." I said picking up on his glance. "How about you? How are you?"

"I'm ok. I'm a little sore, but fine."

My dad came out of the bathroom, and gave Dean a hug. I could tell Dean found it a tad awkward. They weren't usually huggers, but he accepted it anyways.

"We're gonna go out and get some food. You ok here?"

"Yeah. Go ahead." Dean replied to my dad's question.

We got in the car and left.

"Dad, I want to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Not that you are, but don't ever feel like you weren't good enough today. She did things no demon should be able to do. You are one of the toughest, strongest, and greatest people I know, and this whole thing does not define you. You are an amazing dad and I love you."

"I love you too sweetheart. You helped me see that my nightmares don't define me. Nothing happened to you, and it's because I believed I could keep you safe and did the best I could do. And, thanks for saving my butt. You having that exorcism memorized saved the day."

"I'm just so happy you and Dean are ok."

"Me too." We picked up the food, and headed back.

"One more question."

"Yeah Alex?"

"Can I start hunting again? I know you're upset about that last hunt and everything, but I want to get back in it with you two."

"Yes. Of course you can start again."

"Awesome! Thanks dad!"

"No problem kiddo."
