Sana has been staring at her phone that was placed on her desk every minute.
Her office was dead silent. The only thing you could hear was the pen she has been tapping.
Dahyun's not calling yet.
Today was Saturday and they're supposed to meet home early to eat dinner together. Dahyun was supposed to call her, yet there was none.
Sana leaned her back against the swivel chair's backrest, eyes shut as she lets out a groan of frustration.
Maybe she's too busy. She must've loads of paper works again.
Maybe thirty more minutes...
She looked at the clock. 10:38 pm.
"Ugh, no I can't wait anymore. She's supposed to call me by exact ten" She grumbled and took her phone with a frown on her face.
She dialed her girlfriend's contact number.
It took a couple of rings before the latter answered.
"Hello, Sana?" Dahyun answered from the other line. And as if she wasn't just frustrated earlier, Sana immediately smiles hearing her voice.
"Hello to you too, busy woman" Sana teases, she heard a chuckle. "You forgot to call me..."
Dahyun groaned, "I figured out as soon I saw my phone ringing, that I accidentally left at the restroom"
"Getting old?" Sana teases.
"Are you okay living with an ahjussi?"
"Aren't you already?" Sana jests, both of them shared a laugh, "So Dahyunie, about the dinner..."
"Oh no..." Dahyun groaned, and Sana knew what that meant. She forgot about it, again. "Sana, I'm so sorry--"
"It's fine, Dahyun" The Japanese could only sigh, massaging her temple. "But will you at least be home early?"
"I...I actually can't go home early, still lots of things to do, but I'll be around twelve" Sana didn't answer, "I promise, Sana"
"Do you want me to visit you? I can just go there and wait--"
"No! I mean, no it's fine, Sana. I know you're tired and have to rest for tomorrow. You don't have to come here... really"
Sana frowned at that, "Tomorrow's Sunday, Dahyun. It's my day off. It'll be fine for me"
"It's really fine, Jagi. I'll be there at twelve, I promise. Just go straight home safe, yeah?"
Sana sighed once again, "Well if that's what you want" then she heard a knock from the other line.
"...I'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you once I get home. I also have to hang up now."
"Okay, I'll just text you once I'm home"
"Okay, Jagi. See you?" The Korean let out a sweet voice and damn it, she just know when to do that to Sana.
"I'll see you. Please eat something"
