Chapter 3

Dahyun's POV

(At the cafeteria)

I just ignored all the eyes looking at us here at our table inside the cafeteria.

"I can't believe you did transfer here, Dubs," Chaeng said unbelievably as she took a bite on her strawberry cake

"She misses us," Tzuyu said teasingly.

I chuckled as I gave my attention to my chocolate ice cream. "Don't even assume, my brother recommended this school to me. I didn't know you are all here until I saw Jihyo-unnie the day I enrolled here" I said as I remember seeing Jihyo-unnie.

"Oh right, I was really surprised that she was there that I ran and hugged her," Jihyo-unnie said laughing

"That must be so embarrassing," Chaeyoung said teasingly at Jihyo-unnie

"Yah! She hugged me back" jihyo said and pouted.

I looked at Tzuyu's reaction. she was smiling, not until she saw me and immediately changed it into a poker face. I chuckled. So denial.

"About your brother, he's in Canada again?" Jihyo-unnie said as she eyed me.

I stopped scooping my chocolate ice cream. "Yeah, leaving me alone," I said with a hint of bitterness.

Even though we are always bickering and teasing each other, I love him.

"Dubs, you already know your brother is a popular baseball captain, so it's expected to travel around the world" Chaeyoung pats my shoulder as she felt my sudden mood change

I just nodded

"I remember when Tzuyu has a little crush on your brother before," Chaeyoung said teasingly to lighten up the mood

"Yah! I don't have a crush on Taehyung!"Tzuyu glared at Chaeyoung.

Jihyo laughed and I chuckled. I shook my head in disapproval. "I don't think Tzuyu has a crush on my brother before, she already has a crush since--" Tzuyu cut me off

"Not you too, Dahyun. Y'all shut up" Tzuyu became serious. Chaeyoung cleared her throat at that.

Jihyo-unnie stopped from laughing. "Wait, how come I don't know that? Who is that person?" Jihyo-unnie said eyeing us three curiously.

Tzuyu looked down as chaeyoung and I looked at each other

"Yah! You three aren't fair" Jihyo pouted again as she acted sulking.

Chaeyoung smiled as she looked at jihyo-unnie

"Soon unnie. Right, Tzuyu?" Chaeyoung said grinning, while I'm holding myself from flashing a smile.

Tzuyu cleared her throat. "Where's Jeongyeon-unnie tho?" Tzuyu said, changing the topic and looked at Chaeyoung, signaling her to stop.

"W-well, she's with the baseball team. You know, as the baseball captain" Chaeyoung said avoiding Tzuyu's eyes.

I looked at jihyo-unnie who's still sulking. "I don't think we'll have a peaceful chat here if Jeongyeon was here," Jihyo said and chuckled

I smiled as I agreed.

Jeongyeon-unnie is very loud

"I'm happy knowing Jeongyeon-unnie became a baseball captain here, I mean, she's great at leading a team," I said as I sipped my drink.

They all looked at me.

I slightly raised my eyebrows at them. "You already know why I stopped," I said, but chaeyoung just threw fries at me.
