Chapter 58

Sana's POV

I was sitting on a couch inside our apartment, staring at my phone screen for minutes now, then Mina suddenly passed by after being inside the kitchen and stopped, she looked at my phone screen and then at me.

It's just Mina and me today, even though today's Saturday, Momo still has a practice for their upcoming Dance Competition. We're not usually this silent, but a lot of things happened, and Momo not her in the apartment made it worst.

She slumped herself on the couch beside me, sighing, and then faced me again

"I'll just pretend I didn't catch you staring at the picture of you and Dahyun" Mina spoke, making me chuckled and looked at her

"No need," I said placing the phone on the table. She pursed her lips, watching my every move

"You two are already fine, right?" She asked with concern. I noticed the dark circles under her eyes, is she lacking sleep too? I also saw her the other day with puffy eyes, but I did not dare ask what happened, I usually wait until she opened up.

"We are. We're friends again" The last words came as a whisper under my breath, as if out of breath. She tilted her head at me, slightly frowning

"Friends? Why?" She asked, but I know what she meant. I smiled timidly, resting my head on her shoulder

"There's a lot of mess to clean, Mitang" She hummed in understanding

"But until when? Waiting is fine but too much time is a waste. That would just create a thick wall between you two" Mina spoke with a lot of sense. I smiled sadly

"I don't really know" I closed my eyes, she hummed again. 

"But I'll try to wait until she welcomes me" I felt her arms were wrapped around my waist, leaning her head against mine

"You really like her" It wasn't a question from Mina, it was a matter of fact.

"A lot, Mitang. A lot" I spoke, felt something heavy on my chest

"Just give her time, but if you feel like drowning, then it will be the time for you to stop" I nodded, bit my lip as I tried to swallow the truth

"But regardless of how terrifying risking is, some results are worth it. If we fail, then we learn. If we succeed, then great, right?" Mina spoke. I let go of leaning and faced her with so much envy and respect

"Are you going to risk it?" I asked with so much concern. She smiles, the smile of being sure.

"I already am," She said and laughed a little making me giggle

"You're so brave, Mitang" I spoke with a lot of sincerity. She chuckled

"And so you are" She playfully winked and we both laughed

Mina's right. Risking might be very terrifying and nerve-wracking but there's still a lot of optimistic outcomes that might happen.

If we fail, at least we tried.

Chaeyoung's POV

I jumped at the bed making Dahyun. who was already lying on the bed coughed at my sudden action

I cracked a laugh and she glared at me, smacking me with a pillow. I immediately apologized making her stop

"How dare you smack me with my pillow inside my territory?" I playfully glared at Dahyun but she just rolled her eyes and slumped back on my bed
