Normani's POV

I woke up early. It's Monday, I start school today. My mom and I went back to school shopping and I've been all prepared.

"Good morning sweetie you ready for school?" My mom knocked on my door before opening it.

"I could sleep in for longer," I rubbed my eyes and smiled.

"Well from what your gma been telling me about you, you shouldn't have much to worry about the academics,"

"I guess I'm pretty good," I stretched

"You want anything for breakfast? I can make something or we can stop by dunkin,"

"Dunkin cause I want some coffee, also I'm coming home after dance don't forget," I reminded my mom.

Today after school I'd be holding dance auditions since I'm one of the captains and I invest my time into it. The coach loves me and considers me her second coach.

I rolled off from my bed checking my phone.

I put my phone down and went into the bathroom, I did all my hygienics and once I finished I put together an outfit.

Once I was all finished Ryan and Keith were already sitting at my kitchen table.

"Good morninggg, I was just talking to Regina,"

"Good morning yall," I smiled putting my shoes on

"Okay we're gonna go get Solana, but your mom got us some dunkin already," Ryan handed over a bag and my coffee.

"Thank you," I hugged my mom. "Alright come on we gotta be on time," I dragged Ryan out.

We made our way to Solana's and she came outside.

"Good morning beautifullll," Ryan yelled as Solana came out.

Keith and Ryan cuddled up in the backseat and Solana got into the passenger.

"Y'all ready for the day? We seniors," Solana said as she came in.

"I'm already exhausted thinking about my schedule. I got soccer tryout outs this week,"

"I have dance," I backed out from the drive way

"I thought dance started in January," Keith said

"Nah that's when regionals start but we gotta condition our team," I explained, "these practices aren't as intense as regionals this is just to see what everyone's strengths are and build relationships as a team,"

"Okay then ms coach," Solana smiled.

We arrived at school, walking in and receiving our schedules.

"Y'all need a ride home too?"

"Nah one of the guys on the team gon bring me home," Keith answered while studying his paper

"Girl we'll find one I might just call Lani, ion wanna bother you from your practice and all take your time," Solana looked over her schedule as well.

"Who y'all got first class?" Ryan asked

"I got Anderson," I answered

"Shit I got Hank," Solana spoke, "same," Keith and Ryan said.
