I was opening for Drake and the crowd was really feeling my energy. This is something Zaytoven helped me with and one of my favorite mixtapes.
The crowd was feeling me. And I truly felt at home, I loved being on this stage. Seeing everybody dancing and smiling.
My baby was in the front with our friends and they're all going crazy too.
I haven't signed anything yet but Drake agreed to pay me 150k on the spot for this opening. That money truly is something nice.
The first thing I'm going to do is pay off a house for my parents to move into, I'll figure something else out for myself later.
Once I finished up the performance I went backstage and dapped drake up.
"You gon have to open for me way more often, you got my crowd ready man enjoy the show take ya time back here, yo shorty comin," he pointed towards the entrance and Normani was running towards me.
"God you looked so good up there," she jumped into my arms
"You so talented I'm so proud of you," she kissed my lips
"Thank you baby,"
"You killed thattt!!" I heard Rome come in as well as Kehlani. She gave me a tight hug.
"Your moms looking for you," she spoke in my ear
"Where she at?"
"She making her way through, we got good news for youuu," Lani expressed
"The crowd is eating you uppp Meg that shit was so dopeee," Solana came in with Ryan and Keith
"You Megan right?" This light skin girl walked over to me
"Yes I am,"
"Well I'm Diamonté, Drake wanted me to tell you that we having an after party,"
"Can I bring-"
"Nah nah no plus ones," she licked over her lips before walking passed me and my people.
"Damn she fine as hell," Rome mumbled
"I want a bite," Solana added
"Baby can I go or-"
"You're grown, enjoy yourself and be safe okay?" Mani spoke to me
"It's getting pretty late we got school tomorrow," Ryan reminded Solana, Normani and Keith
"Megan I need to talk to you," I heard my mothers voice
"Okay well I'll see you guys tomorrow, bye baby I love you be safe on your way," I kissed Normani and hugged the rest of them before walking away to my mother.
"Hey mom," I walked over to her
"I'm moving up here," she spoke to me
I threw my arms around her.
"I'm staying with you guys right now and we'll figure something else out in the meantime, enjoy your night love ima go I love your performance ima see if I can get you more gigs,"
I nodded my head and thanked her.
I was chilling in the back on my phone. The same girl came over to me.
"Hey, I didn't get the chance to tell you that you were incredible tonight honestly,"
"Thank you," I smiled while looking up
"So you coming to the after party?"
I nodded my head
"You should let me give you a dance you know to celebrate," she smiled
"Nah nah no thank you, I got a girl,"
"It's just a little fun,"
"What up Meg," Zaytoven walked over to me to dap me up
"Nothing, I'm chilling,"
"Ight follow me to the back we finna have some fun,"
I did as Zaytoven said, following him to a space that was absolutely beautiful.
There were seats and drinks and a lot of famous faces.
"Yo peoples, this is Megan she def on the come up, don't make my friend be lonely,"
"Hey," I waved shyly. Most people greeted me and I took a seat.
"Hey I'm Doja, you were insane out there honestly,"
"Thank you," I smiled
"You want something to drink? I was about to pour me some more,"
"Girl im 18,"
"Oh shit you a younginnn, and you good I know you've had something to drink before," she laughed before grabbing me a cup and pouring
Diamonté came into the room, she was talking to come guys over across the room. I was looking her over, subconsciously. Just to get a look.
We locked eyes, but I looked down into my cup sipping some.
"She's nothing but trouble," Doja sipped her cup too sitting back in her chair.
"Her?" I nodded my head forward
"Yes, so don't do anything stupid,"
