Megan's POV
"Damn this furniture is heavy as hell,"Rome and I were lifting a long leather couch into my new house. My mom and dad agreed on one and since my moms credit is so good we got the yes right away.
"Can yall move," Kehlani pushed through Rome to bring a box inside
"Can yo ass be patient?" Rome sucked his teeth
"You better watch yo language boy," Teresa smacked the back of his head
"Sorry mom," he mumbled
"Okay one more lift we almost there," Rome and I lifted at the same time finally get the couch inside and carrying it to the living room
"Ma why y'all don't gotta do nothin?" I looked over at my mom talking to Normani, Nippy and Solana.
"Awe you doing a good job baby," Normani walked over to me kissing my cheek
"Me and Nippy talking about grown folk things," she looked at Solana making it clear she only wanted to talk to her mother
"There's only a couple more boxes," Kehlani called to Solana
"Thank you," Solana gave a shy smile
"You look extra good," Kehlani started to walk with Solana and licked her lips. She be flirting with this girl so hard.
Normani and I shook our heads, laughing.
"Come here," I pulled mani into the bathroom
"Mm what do you want?" She touched my face with her hands that had a fresh manicure.
"Just one kiss," I leaned against the sink and she fell right into me
"AYE! Y'all bet no be fuckin in my bathroom!" My mom swung the door open causing Normani to push off of me
"Mom we wasn't-"
"Ah- ah- ah go help Rome with them boxes," my mother pointed towards the door
Normani shook her head and walked out while laughing.
"Hey mom," Normani walked over to Regina who just entered the house
"I like it, this was a real nice pick Taraji, hey sweetheart," she kissed Normani's forehead.
"We're finished up," Rome came in with another box.
"What time is it?" Kehlani asked
"Almost 6, Normani and I have to leave soon to get ready," I answered
"Ohh for Diamonté's thing?" Solana asked as she walked out of the living room
"Yeah, she's great manis gonna love her,"
"Mani already hate her ass we all know that," Kehlani sipped on some water
I glared over at her.
"She didn't lie," Solana walked over to Kehlani and leaned in to her.
"Heyyyy everybody, I brought some pizza," Ryan and Keith walked in with 3 boxes of pizza.
They were both pizza down at Dawns shop so they couldn't help with the unloading.
"Good cause I am starved," Rome opens up a box and grabs a slice
"Hungry ass," I murmured
"Mom you want some?" Rome called to Teresa
"No I'll grab some later," she smiled
If there's anything about Rome, he sure is a mommas boy.
