I woke up and I was not in my baby's arms. She left me a note telling me she had to get back to the studio but to be ready tonight for 12.

I shut my phone off grabbing my towel and making my way to the bathroom.

"Normani?" I heard my mom call

I walked over to her, she was in the room that was hers.

"Where are you headed?"

"Megan's taking me on a date somewhere,"

"You guys been okay? I know she's been busy,"

"I don't know it's like we haven't been talking things out lately it's just.. you know.. then she leaves,"

"Oh sweetheart, it's important that you keep the communication between you two strong. Maybe tonight, just talk to one another,"

She has a point.
"Thank you,"

"Of course, now go get ready so you're not late," she smiled and i got up from her bed to making my way to the bathroom.

I washed myself and then began getting dressed. I listened to my music and hummed to myself. Eventually I was ready and Megan called me to come outside.

"Hi baby," she held both of my hands and looked at me closely.

"I'm sorry that I had to leave earlier okay?"

"I hate when you do that," I exhaled

"I'm sorry," she came closer to me placing a kiss on my lips, "you looked so at peace,"

I smiled softly.

"I found a place I know you'd love,"

I got in the car and we listening to music until we arrived at our location. It was pretty quiet, the sun was just now setting.

There was an old building that was large. Most of the space was empty.

"Megan what is this?" I asked

She threw something to me.

A can of spray paint.

"You can express your art," she smiled while grabbing a bag form the car

"While breaking the law?" I raised my eyebrow

"We can do it together," she came up behind me kissing the back of my neck

"I know painting helps you relax, maybe this can help you express yourself and we can chill for some time up here," she explained

I looked around and we had all the privacy to our selves.

I turned around and gave her a kiss.

"If I go to jail tonight it's your fault," we laughed
