Megan's POV

"Megannnn daddyyyy come here," Diamonté called for me as I tried standing up. My legs had no strength and my vision was blurry.

"D I gotta go , my girl callin me," I wiped over my face, trying to shake whatever high I was on but I couldn't.

I don't remember doing anything with this girl. And I wouldn't. But when I looked over at her she ain't have no clothes on.

"Drink some of this," Diamonté got up from the bed and gave me a water bottle. The top fizzed, I raised my eyebrow.

I put it down on the coffee table next to me and tried to walk out of the room I was in.

"Where are you goin?" Diamonté's voice faded out.

"Diamonté what did you put in my drinks man," I shifted my weight to a nearby wall.

"Just give me another kiss you'll be fine," she grabbed my face and I grabbed her hand.

"Stop," I said firmly. "I already told you no,"

Nausea took over my body. I can't remember much.

"I didn't cheat on you Normani, I would never," I wiped over my face probably messing up my makeup.

"Why'd you hesitate , you're A LIAR,"

"Normani, please," I tried touching her hand. She wouldn't listen

"She drugged me, the last time I went to her she drugged me I think, I don't know Mani I don't remember,"

"Why didn't you tell me?" She looked over to me.

"I didn't know if it really happen or not only some of its coming back to me," I quickly explained.

It was silent in the car.

"What'd she do to you," I tried once more.

"He could've killed me," her body trembled.

"Who?" Ryan responded quickly.

"He?"

"Her manger , LL. He wants me to stay away from you,"

I looked at her. Thinking about the second I left her alone. The things her grandma told me she told me to take care of her. She told me to protect her and the second I look away someone snatched her away from me.

I bit the inside of my cheek. I could feel the heat of my body grow.

"Turn the car around Ryan,"

Ryan look at me through the rear view.

Back to the road with her hands firm on the wheel.

"Turn the FUCKING CAR AROUND,"

"You need a plan Megan. A plan that won't ruin your career that you've busted your ass for," she gritted

I looked over to Normani and her eyes were closed.

"Turn around,"'my voice grew weak

"No,"

I do need a plan. But I don't care. I'll be reckless or act off impulse. I don't care. I'll figure it out.

I took my phone out. Texting someone I thought I'd never have to.

I shut my phone off, scooting over to Normani.

"Bubba?" I heard her soft voice.

"Yes my love?"

"She.. raped you," her voice was almost nothing.

Slowly my memory started to come back to me. I told her no over and over.

"It's okay," I lied almost instantly

"No," Normani turned towards me. "She's a monster," her hands trembled.

"Baby it's going to be okay, because I'll take care of it,"

I brought her into me. Letting her tears fall my chest.

I've brought this girl so much pain.

Maybe the best way to protect her is to let her go.

The ride was long but eventually came to an end.

"What are we going to do?" I heard Normani speak again.

"Come here," I picked her up and walked with her inside of my new house.

"Tonight we're going to try to relax our nerves, you're going to rest and let yourself heal. I'm going to take care of everything," I kissed her cheek lightly.

We didn't have much but a mattress on the floor. And some of my clothes in a bin.

I checked my phone and got a notification from one of the people from my past.

Tip.

He told me to meet him at the trap.

"Baby, you wanna take a shower? Or go to sleep?" I asked her as I placed her down on the mattress.

"Sleep," she closed her eyes and got comfortable. We had a few blankets that I covered her up. I laid down with her for some time.

Until I new she was in a deep sleep.

I shuffled through some of my clothes finding something that was all black.

I grabbed my keys carefully and slipped through the front door.

I texted Teyana, Rome and Kehlani.

I need them to be at my crib. I have no idea how crazy Diamonté and that other nigga is.
