"Yo, Jeff, (Y/N)! M-movie night!" Toby yelled from across the field.
"Alright! We'll be there!" Jeff shouted back.
"So, I guess we better head over there..." I sighed and started to get up.
Jeff grabbed my arm and pulled me into his, hugging me and kissing my forehead. "Alright, but just remember that I'll always be here for you, okay? I'm here if you ever need or want anything at all."
"Thanks. It means a lot to me."
"I mean, it's why I'm marrying you, right?"
"Right." I smiled a little and stood up. We left the training area together, hand-in-hand. When we reached the living room, I noticed two people were missing. "Where are Sally and Katrina?"
"Probably outside," Clockwork answered.
"Oh, I'll go get them."
"I want t-to though!" Toby piped up.
"Well alright, go ahead."
"Yay!" He jumped up from the floor and ran out the back door, where Sally and Katrina were.
A few minutes later, everyone was seated on either the couch or the floor, and there was a decent-sized stack of movies on the coffee table, thanks to BEN. If he's useful for anything, it's movie night.
"Alright, which movie first?" BEN asked. Everyone answered at once.
"The Conjuring!"
"The Exorcist!"
"Candyman!"
"IT!"
"The Shining!"
"Okay, okay, guys, one at a time. Who votes for--"
BAM!
The whole mansion lit up as lightning erupted from the sky, followed by a loud clap of thunder. Rain pelted the windows.
"Bruh, now?" BEN groaned. "Didn't it just finish raining?"
"Apparently not." Kate seemed annoyed at this fact.
"S-sorry..." Katrina sniffled. I didn't even notice she was crying.
"You okay, 'Trina?" Sally asked softly. The little girl shook her head and buried her face into Sally. I examined the two, confused.
"Is everything alright? Why is Katrina crying?" BEN looked at me as if I had all the answers. I shrugged and looked at Sally, who shrugged as well.
"I j-just remembered some-something..." Katrina sobbed.
Sally patted her head gently, unsure of what to do. "Would you like to share?" She rubbed Katrina's back.
"It was this spooky mon-monster I saw while in the woods."
"What did it look like?" Slenderman questioned.
"G-gray, I think...white eyes...really big... really long fingers."
"Well damn. You saw the Rake." EJ laughed. "Did it try to attack you?"
"N-no... It ran away when I screamed."
"Weird. Isn't it supposed to attack everything on sight?" I asked.
"Yeah..." Jeff scrunched his eyebrows. "Maybe it didn't think she was a threat?"
"Can that thing even think at all?"
"No clue."
"It can, but I can never distinguish any form of human language," Slenderman answers.
