It was me versus Judge Angels now. This was gonna be good.
And good it was.
I pulled out my dagger. The beautiful black blade still encrusted with blood from my previous victims.
Judge Angels came at me with her sword in hand. I wished my dagger was longer at that point.
I stabbed her in the pelvis, but she merely winced. I heard Bloody Painter cheering her on. I knew they were dating, but like, seriously?
Damn, he's gonna be enraged at me for killing her.
I took a stab to the stomach. I could feel the blade entering.
Not a good sensation.
I grimaced, pain shooting through me. I the wound almost instantly started leaking blood. It was a gruesome sight.
"We are going to burn the body, and that's that," Judge Angels seethed, her sword clanging against my dagger.
"This is foolish, Judge Angels! (Y/N) obviously holds Jeffery dear to her. Respect that!" Slenderman intervened.
"I couldn't care less. The body is starting to rot! There's no use in even trying to bring him back!" she responded as I sliced her wrist. She muttered a curse and switched hands, putting her sliced wrist up to her mouth and lapping up the blood.
I mean, blood tastes okay and all, but holy hell she was bleeding a lot. I must've cut a vein or something.
"I don't care about the odds diminishing more and more every day, I have to try!" I defended, blocking Judge from getting to Jeff's body.
I prayed to whatever gods or goddesses that might be out there to aid me in this battle to the death. There was only going to be one of us left, and that one would be me.
I hoped.
"The body needs to be burned!" Judge Angels boiled.
"We have to give him a chance! We can't just burn it without knowing if he's going to be able to be revived!" I shouted at her.
She didn't even consider my side of the argument, nor would I consider hers.
"Just forget about it! He is past the point of no return!" she said just before she stabbed my shoulder. Gauging by how much I was bleeding, I would say that she hit an artery.
Lovely. Now I'm going to bleed out.
Thanks a lot, Judge.
I was already starting to feel a bit dizzy.
"C'mon, (Y/N)! Do it for Jeff! Do it for me!" I heard a voice call. I ignored it, but my brain registered it as BEN Drowned's voice.
I disregarded the dizziness that was overcoming me and pressed on.
I took the time to grab one of Jeff's knives just as Judge Angels took a swing. I had just barely dodged it when I drove Jeff's knife into one side and my dagger into the other. She collapsed, blood gushing out both wounds. I was victorious.
Or so I thought.
But Judge was quick to think and grabbed ahold of my knees and brought me down on top of her. However, I "accidentally" stuck her in the chest, between her ribs, hitting her heart, on the way down.
She never even took a final breath, as she died instantly.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH YOU KILLED MY GIRLFRIEND!" Bloody Painter yelled at me, lunging with his paintbrush knife. He had his mask on, so I couldn't see his facial expression.
But I was sure as hell he was pissed.
Slenderman teleported in front of him and stopped him. I was thankful because I wasn't sure how much energy I had left in me. I soon found that out, though, when I passed out. From blood loss or exhaustion, I didn't know.
All I saw was black.
I woke up. It was the middle of the night. I tried to stand, but my legs were weak, and I fell right back down with a thump. I must've woke someone up because I heard someone groan.
"Who's there?" he called. I recognized the voice to be Eyeless Jack's.
"It's just me," I mumbled. I noticed the wound had stopped bleeding, and there was dried blood surrounding it.
"Oh, you're awake. Good. You missed dinner, but I think there's still some deer left," he said, getting up. I stared at the night sky. There were hundreds of stars scattered about. It was beautiful.
I heard E.J. rummaging around. A few minutes later, he brought me a slice of fire-roasted deer meat.
I ate that thing like it was candy. I glanced over to see Jeff's lifeless body on the ground, right where I had left him.
"Thanks," I whispered.
"No problem," he replied.
"Well, see you in the morning."
"Night."
I rolled over and faced Jeff's body. A tear slipped out my eye. I needed to talk to him. To hear his voice.
I just needed him. How dare he leave me.
"(Y/N)," BEN murmured.
"What?"
"Can we spoon? I'm cold and in need of body heat."
Now that I thought about it, I was pretty cold too. "Fine, but keep your dick to yourself."
"Can do."
"Okay," I whispered as I scootched to where he was. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I felt the warmth of his body encase me.
Something that Jeff was lacking at the time.
I finally fell asleep in BEN's arms, thinking about my beloved boyfriend.
