Remember, use the bobby pin in your pocket to pick the lock, the voice said.
"I know, I know," I mumbled.
"You know what?" EJ asked.
"Voice."
"Ah, okay."
You're going to have to give me a name at some point.
"Nolan. Is that good?"
EJ shrugged off me talking to myself.
Already, I was missing Jeff.
You will get to see him soon if you do as I say.
"What if I don't wanna do as you say?" I muttered as we walked down the sidewalk. There was hardly anyone about. EJ and I kept our hoods up so we wouldn't be recognized... hopefully.
Then you and EJ will be in prison, probably on death row.
"Fine. But if you say anything I don't like, then I'm not doing it."
Your loss.
I could say these things in my head, but it took too much brain-power. I had to memorize the plan.
Pick the lock, sneak inside each bedroom, and murder everyone in the apartment. That's the easy part. The hard part is not leaving fingerprints or anything else that could be used to identify us.
"You ready?"
"Hell yeah, I'm ready. Not just that, but exhilarated."
"Good, because we're here."
"Already?"
"Yep. Now, be quiet. We don't want to raise any suspicion."
"Okay. What now?" I whispered.
"We execute the plan," EJ responded, sneaking up the stairs, followed by me.
"Roger that," I muttered.
I picked the lock and entered. EJ followed behind me this time. The door squeaked, just slightly, but enough to wake someone up. I heard the opening of a door off to the right.
"Stop right there, intruders!" a man's voice called.
Be silent.
I put my finger over my lips to indicate to be soundless.
He did that. We hoped that the man would go back to bed. Unfortunately, he didn't. Instead, he turned on the light and saw us.
He gasped, seeing EJ, and the scalpel in his hand. He saw my obsidian dagger, the psychotic look on my face.
"Jessica!" he called. The wife came out of the bedroom. She stared at us in shock.
"P-please spare us!" she pleaded as she saw our weapons.
"Sorry, no can do. Slenderman wants your life. We can't spare you," EJ explained, deathly calm.
"Wh-what?" they both trembled in fear. The father looked as pale as a ghost. He knew who Slender was. Had they came in contact before?
Yes, that man is who Slenderman took care of as a child. He tried to raise him to be a killer, but the man didn't have a stone-cold heart.
"Mommy, who are they?" a toddler came out of the same room, pushing past the parents.
I almost felt sympathy for her ignorance. Sadly, EJ and I had to kill all of them. Slender's orders.
"Honey, get the gun!" the wife yelled, probably hoping to draw attention.
