It was 1 in the morning when I heard tapping on my window. At first, I thought it was my cat, but when it didn't stop, I decided to see what it was.
I opened my window to see Jeff tapping on it, knife in the other hand.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I whisper-screamed.
"I'll tell you later. Can I come in? It's freezing out here."
"Ugh, whatever."
"Thank goodness." he climbed through the window.
"Now, tell me why the hell you're here."
"Okay, well if you wanna be part of the Creepypasta squad, you gotta kill people. And If you wanna get in anytime soon, you're gonna have to make that number high real quick."
"OMG. Are you asking me if I would kill someone tonight?" I squealed in delight.
"Yup."
"Okay, what should I bring?"
"A knife, something you don't mind wearing getting bloody."
"Ok." My heart was pounding. I was gonna make my first kill! I gathered everything I needed, which wasn't much. I stealthily grabbed the biggest knife I could find in the kitchen, which almost matched the size of Jeff's knife.
"Ready?" Jeff asked me a few minutes later.
"Yup."
"Okay, follow me." he jumped out my window.
"Okay." I followed suit. It's not the first time I've snuck out; more like the 50th time.
"Okay, so who's the first victim, miss killer?" Jeff asked.
"First of all, my mortal enemy, Jess."
"Ok, I know where his house is, want me to bring you there?"
"Sure." I followed Jeff to Jess's house. It took a good 20 minutes on foot.
"Ok, what's the first step?" Jeff quizzed me.
"Unlock the door."
"Yes, and how do you plan to do that?"
"I brought a bobby pin."
"Sweet."
I used my bobby pin to pick the lock on the door. I heard a small click and I opened the door.
"Good, first task is completed," Jeff whispered.
"'Task?'"
"Yeah. Okay, next thing?"
"Find Jess's room?"
"Correct."
"Okay," I whispered back. I search the first floor for bedrooms and find one. I carefully open it, as to not make noise.
Empty, dammit.
"Next floor."
I climbed up the stairs as quiet as a mouse, holding my breath. I was about to kill my childhood nemesis. Awesome.
I opened the next door: a closet. I then heard someone, so I went to hide behind a huge potted plant. Jeff did the same.
Once I heard another door close and saw the light turn on, I dashed into the room. Based on how the room looked--the Gaming posters and gaming devices--this was Jess's room.
"Now to wait for him to come back. Stand over there," I ordered.
"Okay," Jeff whispered.
Jess came back into his room a minute later. I surprised him with the knife to his neck. He tried to scream but I covered his mouth with my free hand.
Jeff came out of his hiding place and gave me a thumbs up. With the knife, I slit Jess's neck, causing blood to spurt onto Jeff's clothes.
"Awesome!" Jeff whisper-yells.
"Yeah," I whispered back. I then put Jess's now dead body back onto his bed for his parents to find.
"Good work."
"Thanks," I answered. I practically ran downstairs, being careful, and out the door, giddy about my first kill.
"The way he looked in shock was priceless!" I boasted once we got outside.
"Yep. Now, you're a true killer."
"Yay!"
"Congrats, you passed test one."
"Wait, that was a test?"
"Yup. I already asked Slender if you could be a Creepypasta, so he said only if you passed a few tests. You passed one out of three; killing someone without remorse or hesitation. You did both."
"Awesome. What's another test?"
"Getting away from someone trying to chase you, whilst wounded, and to heal yourself."
"Uh, the wounded part?"
"Don't worry, it's only a kind of simulation."
"Mhm, okay. As long as you don't try and wound me."
"I won't."
"Okay, good."
"What's the next test I have to do then?"
"You have to get out of jail-"
"WHAT!"
"-Without help."
"You're fucking crazy."
"Well, that is true," Jeff said, emphasizing is.
"What if I fail?"
"Then you stay in there until you break yourself out."
"I hate you."
"I know you do."
"Hmph. So when am I getting caught by the police?"
"Morning probably. You didn't cover your tracks, so the cops will see and arrest you."
"Shit."
"Yep. Don't worry, we all had to do this, it's pretty easy, actually."
"Easy. Okay," I sarcastically said.
"What? It generally is."
"I'm going to trust you, but I'm not sure I should."
"You should. If you want to be a Creepypasta, you're gonna have to trust the 'Pastas in Slender's mansion."
"Okay."
Jeff and I started walking back to my house, slowly at first, then quicker.
Once we reached my window, Jeff opened it and I got in. He then got into my window as well.
"Go to sleep," Jeff creepily said.
I did what he said and I went to sleep after letting Jeff out and closing my window, half expecting the police or my parents to be in my room.
I made my first kill. That was my last thought before drifting off to sleep.
I woke up to the sound of loud banging on the door followed by, "FBI, open up!"
Ah, shit. I'm screwed.
