"I don't suppose you have any idea where they are?" Secretary Ross asked them.
"We will," Tony replied simply. "GSG 9s got the borders covered. Recon's flying 24/7. They'll get a hit. We'll handle it."
"You don't get it, Stark. It's not yours to handle. It's clear you can't be objective. I'm putting Special Ops on this."
"What happens when the shooting starts?" Natasha questioned.
"You gonna kill Steve Rogers?" Lexie scoffed. "Killing Captain America would probably not be the best move."
"If we're provoked," he replied. "Barnes would've been eliminated in Romania if it wasn't for Rogers. There are dead people who would be alive right now. Feel free to check my math."
"All due respect, you're not gonna solve this with boys and bullets, Ross," Tony disagreed. "You gotta let us bring them in."
"How would that end any different than last time?"
"Because this time, I won't be wearing loafers and a silk shirt. 72 hours, guaranteed."
"36 hours. Barnes." He began leaving. "Rogers," he looked at Natasha. "Wilson," he looked at Lexie, before walking out.
"Thank you, sir," Tony called after him.
"Well, this is not good," Lexie sighed, sitting down next to Tony.
"My left arm is numb," Tony commented after sighing. "Is that normal?"
Natasha walked up to them and put a hand on Tonys shoulder. "You alright?"
"Always." They were silent for a moment. "36 hours. Jeez."
"We're seriously understaffed."
"Oh yeah. It'd be great if we had a Hulk right about now. Any shot?"
"You really think he'd be on our side?" she smiled slightly.
"No."
"I have an idea."
"I might have someone too," Lexie nodded slightly, dread setting in her stomach as she thought about putting Peter in danger, but they needed all the help they could get.
And Peter Parker wanted nothing more than to help.
"Good," Tony nodded and looked at Natasha. "Where's yours?"
"Downstairs. Where's yours?" she looked at Lexie, who smiled.
"Queens."

Tony had come with Lexie to pick up Peter, aka Spider-Man. She had convinced him to come with her, arguing that it'd be easier to convince the teen to come with them if he was there. Tony was also a much better liar, and there was the matter of convincing May and Erin to let them take Peter with them to take into consideration.
