Some time later, Tony was still unconscious and lying on a bed, with Pepper sitting next to him.

"Bruce gave him a sedative," Rhodey said as he reentered the room. "He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day."

"You guys take care of him..." Carol spoke up, "and I'll bring him a Xorrian elixir when I come back."

"Where are you going?" Steve asked.

"To kill Thanos."

"What?" Lexie began walking after her. Steve and Natasha followed as well.

"Hey," Natasha stopped the blonde. "You know, we usually work as a team here and, uh, between you and I, morale's a little fragile."

"We realize up there is more your territory, but this is our fight, too," Steve told her.

"You even know where he is?" Rhodey asked, leaning casually against the wall.

"I know people who might," Carol answered.

"Don't bother," Nebula spoke up, having overheard their conversation. "I can tell you where Thanos is."

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Lexie said, looking at the others.

"Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me," Nebula explained after they'd gathered everyone. "And when he worked, he talked about his Great Plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask... where would we go when his plan was complete? And his answer was always the same." She walked towards the table the others were stood around. "'To the Garden.'"

"That's cute," Rhodey shrugged dryly. "Thanos has a retirement plan."

"So, where is he?" Steve asked.

Rocket showed a hologram of Earth. "When Thanos snapped his fingers... Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions," he explained. "No one's ever seen anything like it. Until two days ago..." He showed another planet, "on this planet."

"Thanos is there," Nebula said with complete certainty.

"He used the stones again," Natasha pointed out.

"Hey, hey, hey," Bruce chuckled. "We'd be going in shorthanded, you know?"

"Look, he's still got the stones, so..." Rhodey began.

"So, let's get 'em," Carol interrupted. "Use them to bring everyone back."

"Just like that?" Bruce asked in disbelief.

"Yeah," Steve nodded, on board with the plan. "Just like that."

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this..." Natasha joined. "I mean, we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try."
