Day at the beach

It's our second day here, me Anna and Toff decided to relax, after Toff's episode yesterday I and Anna were curious but decided not to question Toff because we are sure she will speak to us when she is ready. We wanted to enjoy the beach today, we were walking along the coast bare feet, I was astonished sinking all the beauty of this place. I the beautiful sunrise, surfers surfing the waves people sunbathing kids making sandcastles, there was a group playing volleyball. I glanced at them while we passed them, there my eyes caught something rather than someone. I had a hard time keeping a straight face at the sight in front of me as I walked away.

"Let's soak in the water," I said, I need a strong diversion right now as my mind is still replaying the scene that makes me smile like an idiot.

"Are you ok, why are you smiling?" Toff asked me with a questionable look on her face.

I opened my mouth but could not come up with any words right now or maybe I did not want to lie to my best friend.

"It's the sunrise and the beach, come on you know how Lee is when she gets to see her sunrise" Anna suddenly said, she just gave me a nod along with a smile.

I don't know why but I thought that she tried to cover up for me without even me asking her for help. Anyways I am glad because Toff did not pry and straight away walked towards the sea, I and Ann followed her lead.

"I feel so relaxed right now wish I could stay here forever!" Toff exclaimed

"Me 1" "Me 2" me and Ann agreed with her.

We were soaking in the sun lying on our blankets, however, my neck just kept twisting towards the direction we walked earlier searching for a similar figure but to my luck, I saw none.

"Let's go back to the hotel," I said hoping to find what I was looking for while walking back

"Ahh, what's the hurry man we have nothing to do except to chill and have a fun time" Toff said

"Umm, we have been here for hours Toff" I corrected her.

"You are always in a hurry Lee; we are on a vacation so no need to worry about the time or being organized or punctual just enjoy" Toff sounded annoyed

"It's not that, umm I just....umm wanted to go find...no....back to..." I paused again unable to lie.

"It's ok Lee we are here for a week, I am sure you can do whatever you want to do later just relax for now" there she was again saving my ass with a smile plastered on her face.

I was a bit astonished by why was she doing the same thing she did earlier, does she know something? I hope not because I don't want to ruin our friendship. But there was no way I could confirm that so I just let it slip my mind.

After some time, we walked past the same place we walked to earlier but to my disappointment, there was no one there now.

We walked back to the hotel, yesterday we arrived late in the afternoon completely exhausted and were in no mood to take a tour of the hotel. Therefore, we decided to explore this place on our way back to our suite which was on the left-wing of this building, so we decided to visit the right-wing first as we pass by the reception which is the center of the two wings. I noticed a huge wall named "The Memory Wall" it had photos of random people. In frame were selfies, couples, group,s and kids having the time of their lives some were standing some kissing while some doing some random stuff, there was one picture of a boy drinking his soup, some even had some message written on them.

"What is this?" I questioned the staff nearby

"It's a wall where you can add a picture you took during your time here in Hawaii. This idea was proposed by the son of the owner of this hotel a few months back, since then every person who stayed in this hotel has put a picture here before checking out, it's really amazing to hear the story behind every picture" she answered me

"That's thoughtful" I was scrolling through the pictures one after other until I landed on one of the pictures, I was flabbergasted when I saw it. There is no way we were in the same hotel I said under my breath.

"Well, they look beautiful, don't they?" Anna asked me with a smirk.

Oh gosh here comes her smirk again, why is she doing this to me.

"Ahh, yes" I could only come up with these words.

"You guys!! did you see that amazing fountain in the back of this hotel, I swear it is huge, unlike any fountain I have ever seen before? Come here let me show you, besides the restaurant also looks amazing and the view here is breathtaking" I heard Toff so immediately followed her voice to avoid further conversation with Ann. We decided to have lunch in the restaurant Toff discovered.

"Umm," I moaned at the delicious food we decided to eat at the restaurant after our tour.

"What are our plans for the evening," I asked sipping my drink. "Duh, Clubbing" Toff declared

"On the second day itself, can we not do something sober for today considering it is the first night of the week-long holiday we have here? Come 'on Anna back me up" I said expectingly to her making a puppy face.

"OMG, NO ANNA" Toff yelled on top of her lungs getting some attention from the dinners.

"Actually, you know what Lee? You are right" she said and that made me so happy, my smile reached my cheeks as I was about to hug her.

"We need to go shopping before we hit the club," she said bursting my happy bubble.
