Meeting a stranger

Toffee

We are here in Hawaii after an almost 6 hours long flight. As soon as we deboarded the plane we straight headed towards the terminal to get our luggage so that we can hop on our ride to the hotel. It was already arranged by the hotel itself, so we were good to go.

"Ahh" I screamed, my behind was about to kiss the ground due to impact but suddenly I felt a strong arm around my waist and I was pulled up by someone. My already sore body ached at the sudden movement, when I lifted my face up to see who I clashed into, I felt that all the air around me has suddenly decided to disappear. I was stunned by those ocean blue eyes, I mean sure, I have had a fair share of stunners around me but those blue eyes were all I wanted to keep looking at.

"Can you not watch your way" I was brought out of my imagination with those words out his red lips full of anger and frustration.

"I could say the same about you, can't I?" I spat back with some irritation in my voice, I mean he is handsome and Ummm...handsome but I take no one's shade.

"Huh, Fiesty aren't we?" he pinched my waist playfully before releasing me and left me standing there stranded.

"Someone's daydreaming" I heard Anna say, she had a mischievous smirk plastered on her face as she and Lee approached me with their luggage along with mine.

"Let's get to the hotel, I am tired" I immediately tried to end the conversation before it gets any weirder.

Ruth our driver greeted us and helped us with our luggage, I occupied the co-pilot seat while Lee and Anna made themselves comfortable in the passenger seats.

It was about 20 minutes ride from the airport to the Black Royals where we decided to spend our vacation, the complete ride my mind was occupied with the thought of the stranger I just bumped into. Rude, arrogant, furious but handsome as hell.

"We are here," Ruth said bringing me back to reality

"Welcome to Black Royals," said the person with a smile as he helped me with the door.

We checked in and headed toward our suite along with the key card in my hands that I just received from the reception.

"WOW" three of us exclaimed as we entered our suite, right in front of us was a floor-to-ceiling window with a view of the beautiful beach, no doubt it would be a breathtaking view to see the sun setting below the horizon from this window. It was a duplex suite with 3 rooms on the first floor along with a modern open kitchen on the right of the floor-to-ceiling window and a bar setting adjacent to it. The huge rotatable sofa was placed in the middle of the floor to ceiling window so that it can either be rotated to watch the beach view or face the beautiful coffee table

"I am taking a long shower and then going straight to bed," said Lee after we toured the suite

"Me 1" said Ann

"Me 2" I said and we headed towards our rooms to freshen up.

We woke up late in the evening, so decided to go for a walk around the city. We wandered for about an hour and decided to look for a place to dine.

We decided on a seafood restaurant for tonight, as I occupied my seat and read the menu I felt as if someone was watching me, I lifted my head to look around but there was no one, but the feeling kept nagging me.

"Are you okay?" Lee questioned me placing a hand over mine. I smiled and hummed in response.

"Is something wrong Toff? You have been quiet since we got here" Anna asked concerned.

"No, guys I am fine it's just the seafood. I just don't have an appetite right now. I'll be back in 5" I left the table and started walking towards the restroom. "Finish your food, I will be right back," I said before these two decide to follow me.

I washed my face and stared at myself in the mirror. Numerous thoughts kept crossing my mind, was it going to repeat? The pain and the memories flooded my mind, my vision becomes blurry and I nearly collapsed but I held the sink immediately and balanced myself. I was hyperventilating, I knew I need to calm down. 1..2..3.. I tried to count and relax my breath. It was not helping me.

"Toff, are you okay. OMG Toff what happened?" I could hear Anna talking to me while hugging me but I was not able to respond to her. I was trying my best to speak but I could not.

I felt another body hug me after some time, I guess Lee might have come looking for us.

Both of them kept saying soothing words to me I tried to focus on their voices and tried to regulate my breathing. After what felt like an eternity, I was fine and ready to speak "Can we go home?"

"Wash your face I will pay our bill meanwhile; Lee helps her and meet me at the table. Will you be okay Toff?" Ann replied to me without asking any further questions. I nodded my head. Ann gives a nod to Lee and kissed my forehead before leaving the restroom.

"Come on girl, let's get you cleaned" Lee cooed me and turn the tap on. Lee held my hair while I wash my face.

"Thank you" I thanked Lee just to receive a deadly stare from here. I just laughed and hugged her. I love my friend they will never leave my side no matter what.

We walked back to our hotel and call it a day. Lee and Anna decided to accompany me for the night, they did not ask me any questions sensing my reluctance to answer, and just hugged me to sleep.
