First-hand embarrassment

"Come on Anna you are overthinking it" Shaun reassured me again

"It's easy for you to say" I grumbled. When Edward caught me lying, I disconnected the call freaking out. He has been very particular about my diet past few days. I am sure Alex and I both are up for a long lecture

"Well, you should have thought that before lying then" he chuckled making me huff

As soon I walked out the gates of the building I saw Edwards's car, I had pleaded with him to not come out of the car when he comes to drop me or ick me up. I did not want unwanted attention to which he agreed

I said my goodbyes to Shaun and walked towards the car with heavy steps walking as slow as possible, his windows were tinted making it impossible for me to see him. Taking a huge breath I entered the car head low my eyes looking at my fingers in my lap.

"Who are you and what did you do with my girlfriend?" Edward questioned, turning to face me. I raised my eyes to look at him questionably

"You are awfully quite" he said starting the car. I did not say anything

The silence in the car was awful, I could not take it anymore

"Please don't be mad at us" I grumbled my head still down looking at my fingers. In the beginning, I thought of defending Alex but then again, to defend him I would have to lie to Edward more 'You will have to tell 100 more lies to cover a lie' I thought

"I am not"

"Please, Alex was just....wait what? You are not mad?" my head snapped to look at him so fast, I am surprised it is not sprained

"No princess" he chuckled, rubbing my neck as I winced in pain because of how fast I snapped my neck

"I am sorry though...I should have not lied to you" I apologized guiltily. He took my hand in his free hand and placed a kiss on the knuckles humming

The rest of the drive was just me blabbering and him listening to me, soon I noticed we were not going to our place in the city we usually live. I looked around and recognized the road immediately, I have been here before

"Why are we going to the safe house?" I knew very well that this was not one of their regular safe houses because it has some very high-level security so many codes and biometric scans. I swear I will faint trying to remember which scanner scans what

But before he could answer his phone went off, it was Slaiman. He informed him we would reach there in 5 and if everyone has arrived to which he received a positive response

"Okay, what going on? Why is everyone gathering here?"

"Nothing that should worry my princess" he replied with a small smile that melt my heart. He intertwined our fingers for the rest of the drive and we basked in the silence

Our car came to a stop and Edward turned off the car, I could see that there were too many men on the property today. He helped me out of my seatbelt and pulled me onto him making me straddle him, my hands reached to circle around his neck pulling him closer, my eyes meeting his.

I had so many questions but I had a feeling he needed this. He wanted this moment to be just about US

"Do you trust me" he asked or should I say stated after a moment of silence his eyes not blinking, just in case I falter my eyes to lie to him on his face. I nodded my head in agreement just as those words left his lips. Somethings not right. I can feel it.

"Words my love" he husked

"Yes" and with that his lips were on mine, sucking the life out of it. But it was not domineering even though he was dominating the kiss. He swirled his tongue in each and every direction of my mouth, he sucked on my tongue so light and slow that I almost came with that feeling. I moaned pulling him impossibly closer.

He trailed his kisses to my jaw and down my neck soon he found my sweet spot making sure to suck on it a little longer his left hand reached to the back of my neck and other sensually lingered over my breast.

I slipped my one hand to pop open his first few buttons and run my hand over his chiseled body. I closed my eyes basking in the pleasure. Edward bit me just above my breast making me moan and lean back but I accidentally pressed my back on the steering wheel which caused it to honk and my eye go wide only to see Edward look out of the windows and back at me quickly, and by the look on his face I know everyone is looking at our car, he was having difficulty trying to not laugh.

Even though the windows are tinted, it does not require to be a genius to figure out what we are doing in the car. My face flushed in embarrassment, groaning I buried my face into his naked chest making him lose his composure and fall in a fist of laughter
