"We have a security breach," Max informed me as soon as I entered the car. I just nod my head and start to read the notifications on my watch. They were the notification about the headquarter building, I always receive a notification to my watch when it is unlocked by anybody else except me it is the same with the other people who have access too. However, only three people except for me have access to the headquarter building. I and Max are here and I am sure that my brother Slaiman had an important meeting so it is not him. And the fourth person is out of the country.
"Slaiman is on his way?" I questioned Max "Yes. I was on a call with him when I received the notification" came his quick reply.
I was trying to think of possible enemies that have the ability to breach the high securities of the headquarter, it required a 6-digit pin to be entered followed by the iris scan then a thump print scan to get through the first door. Then again, a 4 digit pin to unlock the second door that will lead to the 10 bedroom apartment which is our headquarter or base as we like to call it generally. The other way we can enter is using the scanner from our watch however it requires our thumbprint to be scanned on the watch. If someone enters the password or fails to scan the input incorrectly for three-time the complete building will be locked and send us the notification respectively.
I was brought out of trans as I received a call from my brother Slaiman "Alex is good and been taken care of but I cannot get to Myra" my blood froze at the newfound information but I quickly composed myself as I inquired further "What do you mean by 'you cannot get to her'?" "Her phone is off and her location tracker is not generating any response" came his frustration filled reply "Okay, calm down. Think it through, who were the people that knew about her true identity and her location" I tried to get a hold of the situation I put my phone on speaker so that Max would join our conversation.
"It's just you, me, and Slaiman. Even Alex does not know about her exact locations" Max replied, Slaiman swore on the other side of the line. "How long will you take? We will be there in about 15 minutes" I asked Slaiman "Same as you. Bunker?" he replied.
"Yes. The strange thing is there is no forced entry to the base. The notifications show that the entry was made with 0 incorrect input. Someone knew the exact password, but then how did they manage to get through scanners?" I informed them both
"0 incorrect input?" they both exclaimed "I did not even notice that. My first instinct was to disperse men to fetch Alex and contact Myra" Slaiman responded "I told you it isn't safe to leave her alone with no protection but you did not listen to me, YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME EDWARD JAMES" he gritted out.
"Did you contact Spider?" I questioned Max after a minute ignoring Slaiman's rant.
"Already on it" Max concluded.
"Unable to get hold of him" he replied after furiously doing something on her phone.
"Saturday evening was the last time we contacted him, right?" "Yes. This is the first time in years he is been MIA for so long" Max replied to me
"If they harm Myra or so much as put a scratch on her, they will be saying hello to the devil the second I laid my eyes on them" Slaiman concluded and disconnected the call. The devil he spoke about is he himself. Slaiman is not a man to play with when it comes to his loved ones.
We were now at the base hiding behind the trees, we left our cars to the bunker we build for emergencies it takes 25 minutes to reach here on foot. It is the exit to the secrete pathway from the base but we avoided it assuming the person who entered the base might have an idea about it and will surely have some counter plan, so we decided to move from the front door. This being our base we knew about every minute detail about the building we were currently in the backyard of the base.
We first decided to run through the perimeter to make sure if there was anything that we can find out.
"Eagle take the left passage; Jaguar follow me to the right" I commanded getting into action undoing the safety of my gun.
"Yes Alpha" came their solid reply. With that, we moved forward with our positions.
"Alpha to Eagle we are moving forward" I spoke to Slaiman through earpiece "Copy" Came his quick reply.
"Jaguar to Eagle, right-wing clear" Max informed Slaiman.
"Yours" I questioned Slaiman.
"Eagle to Alpha, left wing clear. Front door in my sight no snag yet"
"Good. We will enter on three I will use my watch to unlock the first door. Jaguar will lead to open the second door. Eagle cover. Eagle sweep ground floor, I take the top and Jaguar to the basement" I spat. "Roger that. Let's roll guys" replied Slaiman
"One...two.... three." With that I and the boys entered the base blind unaware of who or how many are waiting for us inside
