Joshua's pov

Month 44 prt 2

We're getting married today!

Tyler wanted to us to actually dress up for it, and of course I couldn't say no to him, so we're shopping for suits. He says it can't be anything fancy because we don't have the money, but knowing him, he's going to spends a lot. I saw a suit that was this velvet black, and I instantly knew that was the one, but it is a little pricey so I don't know what to do about that.

"Joshua! This one is perfect!" He beams, pulling down a typical black suit.

"I love it, baby. You'll look beautiful in it." I kiss the side of his head as he giggles.

"And it's not too much money! Have you picked one?" He asks.

"I did, it's absolutely perfect, but it's a little pricey."

"Oh, by how much?"

"It's like, 1 grand." I say quietly.

"Baby! That's not bad at all! This one is only $800, so we have more than enough to get that one!" He smiles.

"Well yeah, but I don't wanna spend so much for something I'll only wear once."

"Nonsense," He laughs. "Take me to it, I wanna see."

I shake my head and spin around on my heels, walking in the direction of the velvet suit.

"It really is perfect." I say.

"Nothing is as perfect as you, Joshua."

I smile and turn down the isle holding the suit and pull it off the rack. "This is it." I smile.

His face lights up as his smile grows ten times bigger. "Joshua! That's fucking gorgeous!" He takes it from me and looks all over it. "Oh my God, you'd look so handsome in this, we have to get it."

"It's just so much money-"

"Eh, eh, eh, no it isn't. We can just ask my mom to give a few hundred if we fall behind anything, but I don't think we will." He says.

I roll my eyes and nod. "Okay, fine. Let's go, let's fucking get married Tyler."

His smile grows even wider and he jumps up and down like a little kid in a candy store. "Let's get fucking married."

"Dun?" A man calls.

Tyler and I stand up at the same time, and I wave to him. "Here."

He motions us to follow him into his office, so we connect our hands together and walk behind him. He closes the door behind us then walks behind his desk.

"ID's?" He says, less of a question and more of a demand. Me and Tyler pull out our wallets and hand him the plastic cards. He runs through them and goes over our paper on his desk. "Perfect, thank you." He hands them back.

We put them away and nod. "So how does this work?" I ask.

"I normally would read a full bible page, and then do the whole "Do you take him" yada yada, but I have a full day so I'm gonna skip a few steps, hope that's okay with you guys." He explains.

"Yeah, that's okay." Tyler says.

"Okay, perfect. Alright, conjoin your hands together," He pauses to wait for us. We turn to each other and hold each others hands, letting him continue. "Okay, Tyler Joseph, do you take Joshua Dun to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
