Ivy was waiting for Park Jimin at the airport. One of the girls who worked at the airport was waiting with her too, in anticipation to give him a lei of flowers. Usually those were given to tourists in Hawaii and not on their island, but the people wanted him to have a nice welcome back gift. She almost rolled her eyes. She knew what welcome gift each of them would want give him, regardless of their orientation. Park Jimin seemed to sweep everyone off their feet. He was a natural good looking fellow.
Park Jimin stepped out of his personal airplane looking like a god. He walked towards her with a bright smile on his glowing face. His smile could make either someone's heart stop, either convince them to donate their kidney to him. Even she was about to bow at his feet and say: 'here's my kidney'. She facepalmed herself for her stupidity.
The way he walked, the way he smiled and carried himself, it felt as if he was a runaway model and the entire island was his own stage. Hell, she could bet he had power over anyone with a pulse, and that made him the most dangerous person for her sanity.
She took a moment to appreciate the way he was dressed, simple yet so classy, she couldn't take her eyes off of him. He was dressed in a pair of light brown shorts and white shirt, a black bag in his hand.
She didn't realize she was staring at him, until she heard him clear his throat. "Welcome back Park." She said through gritted teeth. She was angry on herself for her reaction to him. She had a job to do, and that job was to stop him from ruining their island not get into his pants.
Jimin smirked and lowered his head to receive the lei. "Good to be back."
"I'm sure you are." She rolled her eyes.
"Welcome back on our island Mr. Park. I hope you enjoy your stay. If there's anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out." The woman said with a bow and a sly smile on her face.
"Thank you sweetheart. I'll keep that in mind." He saw the woman blush at his sweet as honey voice. He took her hand and kissed it.
Ivy rolled her eyes. "We need to go. I don't have all day." She pushed him towards her car. "Flirt later on your own God damn time." Her voice was raised a little bit.
Jimin laughed as he stepped inside her car. "Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed."
The musicality of his laughter made her heart clench. She had met him a few times, but it never hit her that hard. She liked the sound of his voice. His sparkly eye laughter. His glowing face. All about him hypnotized her.
"Shut up and put your seat-belt on." She commanded, furrowing her eyebrows. She was irritated by the attraction she felt towards him.
"Someone's jelly." He burst out laughing, but did what he was told.
"Ugh." She slapped the steering wheel. "You're so damn full of yourself. Ass."
"Hey, my ass is gorgeous." He winked and turned his attention out the window.
"Gorgeous or not, you're not that special." She replied in a dry voice.
Jimin scoffed. "Right. That's why I can see your pulse rise about water level."
"Dude, stop with the innuendos, I ain't sleeping with you." She snapped.
"For now." He mumbled under his breath, low enough for her to not hear him.
If he had to admit, he did find her pretty. The fact that she wasn't dropping on her knees in front of him, made him want to see how hard she will resist him. He did try to tell himself that it was only for his advantage to make her fall for him, the truth was, he liked her. Her red hair was shining in the sunlight. She was spitfire. She didn't care about hurting his feelings or not, she didn't sugarcoated anything just to bring him closer to her.
