Yoongi stayed where he was. Glued in front of the painting that brought so many bad memories to his lover. If she hated him before, now he knew she loathed him. He had shared his secret and she ran away from him. With a sigh, he turned around and went home, not before collecting her shoes from the entrance. She must have been so hurt by what he had done, that she didn't even care if she'd ran barefooted. Her sole purpose being away from him.
Their home was eerily silent without her. It felt like the soul of what was keeping them together, had disappeared, leaving nothing but loneliness behind. He could only hope that she will come back by her own accord, or he will drag her. He would look for her, even in the depths of hell. Either way, she was coming home. One way, or the other.
Yoongi fretted all night. He couldn't sleep or eat. He wanted nothing more than go outside and look for Victoria. One thing he understood, she needed time for herself, that was the reason why he waited. He gave her time, trusting that she will come back to him. It was all that mattered.
He tried to drown himself in work, it didn't work. Without her, he didn't want to do anything. He felt alone, abandoned. The worst possible feeling in the world, he felt unloved. It was true, he took her for granted, and now she might not even return.
He will never give up. He will do anything to bring her back. He was nothing without her. Yoongi could even say he liked her. Even if the concept was foreign to him, there was one girl he loved, and still did. A girl he would have loved to glue all her broken pieces together. But it was too late. That girl was tainted. Tainted by other's touch. That betrayal still haunt him to this date.
At the sound of the door being opened registered in his brain and the sight of her standing in front of him, his heart sank. Her makeup was smeared and all over her face, her feet were bleeding and she looked dirty. She lowered her head and walked past him. She wanted to take a shower and sleep, and hopefully never wake up. She was done. Done with everything. She was tired. Tired to keep on going like nothing had happened.
Yoongi grabbed her arm. "Sit." His voice was soft, yet commanding.
Victoria didn't argue. She sat on the couch with a sigh, hopefully, she wouldn't have to answer his questions.
Yoongi shook his head. He walked inside the bathroom, poured some hot water in a bowl. He slowly got closer to her, and with a cloth he washed her face. Victoria stared at him with her mouth opened. He was gentle with his touches. It amazed her how different he was in that moment. It soothed her wounds and put together her recent cracks. When her face was washed, he took each leg, one at a time and gently washed it. She had small stones embedded in her skin. He plucked them out, a flash of pain washed over her and whimpered.
"I'm sorry." Though his voice was low and barely audible, his words were filled with so many emotions. She closed her eyes and relaxed under his touch.
As soon as he was finished, he regretted it. He wanted to touch her some more. To take care of her, though he had no idea how, or why he was being that way. Maybe the prospect of loosing her made him go mad.
"Thanks. I'm gonna take a shower." She tried to get to her feet but he caught her arm.
"Are you sure you can?" He eyed her.
Victoria furrowed her eyebrows. "I stink. I'm taking a shower." She took a step and winced. Yoongi rolled his eyes and scooped her in his arms. "What do you think you're doing?"
"You want to take a bath. I don't want you to walk. So I'm carrying you." He explained.
She sighed. Yoongi placed her on a seat and set the water to fill the tub. He dropped in a bath bomb.
Victoria was watching him. It was interesting to see how attentive he was with her. He pitied her. That was something she didn't agree with.
"This changes nothing Min." She said in a cold voice. "I had a temporary lapse of judgment. That's it."
Yoongi smiled. "I know. I'd have to be dead for something to change around here. Don't get used to it."
Victoria sighed. It was going to be a long day. As soon as the bathtub had the right amount of water, he took her hand and helped her rose to her feet.
"What now?" Victoria asked. Her breath caught in her throat. He was too close to her, it messed up her heart and mind.
Yoongi could have turned his back on her, let her have a moment for herself. He just didn't want to let her go. He didn't understand his own reasoning. He was supposed to hate her. He had a plan to make her pay for what she did to him. But no. He couldn't let her go.
He undressed her, keeping his eyes locked on hers all the time. Her eyes sparkled and he loved the feeling it gave him. He waned to kiss her plum lips, he wanted to touch every inch of her body, to breath in her scent. He didn't do anything except help her get in. As soon as she was in, he started washing her hair.
His hands were massaging her scalp, releasing the tension she felt, soon she relaxed under his touch, drifting in a parallel universe where his actions made sense. It was amazingly relaxing and he was so soft. She didn't know the reasoning behind his actions, but she loved every part of it. At the same time, she hated it. She knew it will never happen again and that made her sad. Even though she was strong, independent, Victoria still wanted his affection. It was stupid of her to believe he had changed, that he had given her a chance to show more of himself, parts she didn't know, to connect with him.
He will never agree to it. So she had to take what he was willing to give her. Hopefully, she wouldn't end up with her heart broken. Pieces she might not be able to amend. Only he had so much power over her.
A moan escaped her lips as he was massaging the back of her neck. He held his breath, his hands were shaking. He wanted nothing more than strip his clothes off and join her. No. He couldn't. He rinsed her hair and got up to his feet.
"I'll let you finish here." He said in a hoarse voice.
Victoria caught his arm. "You don't have to leave." She bit her lip, avoiding his gaze.
Yoongi shook his head. He couldn't. Not in that moment. He couldn't forget about his plans. "I think it's for the best."
"Fine." Victoria replied in a dry voice. "Min?"
Yoongi stepped a few inches before the door. "What?"
"I'm still a bitch. Just because you were nice to me, doesn't mean I'm gonna change. Don't ever think I have feelings for you. Got it?" Her tone of voice was cold, dry, almost to the point of mockery. It broke her heart to say it, it was for the best. It was her only way to protect herself.
Yoongi turned around and left without a word. Of course she won't change. Did he really wanted it though? He was so used seeing her in control, and now when she showed him her soft side, he had no idea how to react, or what to do. Tough his heart was still in the small bathroom, he walked into his own room and jumped into his bed, hiding his face in his pillow. He cursed himself for being so close to her. He was behaving like a love struck fool, that didn't sit too well with him. He will leave it as it was for now, next day everything will go back to normal. Yes. He was acting like that because she was in some sort of pain. Tomorrow she'll be fine, he'll be okay. With that in mind, he changed his clothes and went to work.
