Namjoon was staring at the door, contemplating whether to ring the doorbell or not. He didn't want to see Yoongi, but his need for answers was growing more and more. After a few moments of debating, he finally rang the doorbell.
Victoria opened the door and gasped when she saw him outside. "Namjoon?" She asked in a low panicked voice.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Namjoon demanded.
"Tell you what?" She furrowed her eyebrows and looked outside, left and right. "You need to leave before Yoongi comes back. I don't want him to find you here. You're not exactly his favorite person."
"Why did you gave me that contract?" He finally asked.
"Look, I don't have to explain myself to you. Thank you for what you did for me in the past, but now you really do need to leave." She tried to close the door, but he stuck his foot in the doorway.
"I'm not going without an explanation. I deserve to know."
Victoria ran her hand through her hair and sighed. "Fine. I did it for you as a thank you present. Anything else?" Her eyes shot daggers towards him.
"Is that the only reason you did it?"
"Of course not. It was the only way to save your friendship with Yoongi. I knew about you and Jimin. I know what he did. I couldn't let him destroy you. Destroy your relationship with him." She snapped back.
"Do you even love him?" Namjoon asked in a softer tone.
"Namjoon, with all due respect that has nothing to do with you. I found out about you three and what my husband did. I had no idea about the others and I honestly don't give a crap. My debt to you is erased. That's it. Take it or leave it."
"Is the contract even real?"
"It is. I don't double cross people without a reason. You can trust me or not, it's your choice. I would suggest you take it."
"Thank you Vi. I don't know how you did it, but thank you."
"Namjoon, there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for the people I care about. I don't want Yoongi to lose his people. More so, if those people were there for me when no one else was."
"What the fuck is the meaning of this?" A roaring voice echoed through the hallway.
Namjoon shuddered and Victoria closed her eyes. "Shut up." She whispered to Namjoon. She shook her head and straightened her back, staring straight at her husband. Her eyes cold. "Your stupid friend came to look for you. And keep your damn mouth shut. You're alerting our neighbors."
Namjoon was shocked to see how fast her expression changed. Her entire demeanor was rough and strong. It wasn't like anything he had seen of her so far.
"So what, you're taking turns to check up on me?" Yoongi demanded to know. "I should've expected Hoseok would send you here. What do you want?"
Namjoon tried to come up with a reason, but he was falling short. Thankfully, Victoria was on the spot, so she answered him in the same ice cold tone. "He came here demanding answers to why my sister was unhappy with my decision to put you in charge of our company."
Victoria found out that Namjoon was dating Melanie, and she couldn't have been happier. He was a nice person who would take good care of her.
"So why is he looking for me?" Yoongi asked back, narrowing his eyes. It didn't make any sense for him. Something was fishy and he felt it. "I never pegged you as a liar my darling wife. How dare you cheat on me in my own home?" He yelled.
Victoria rolled her eyes, annoyed. "You think that if I'd cheat on you, I'd bring him home? Don't be delusional." She said in a dry voice.
"What the fuck?" Namjoon snapped out of his thoughts. "How dare you think I'm as disgusting as you?" He grabbed Yoongi by his collar and pushed his back into a wall. "You fucking betrayed Melanie. You made her suffer, and now you're taking everything from her? How fucked up can you be?"
Yoongi pushed him away and snapped himself free. "If you ever come here again, I'll fucking kill you." He tried to punch Namjoon, but Victoria caught his arm.
She sat between the two raging males, protecting Yoongi with her body. "Leave." She told Namjoon. "Tell Melanie she'll find out the reason eventually."
Namjoon shook his head and left. Nothing made sense when it came to the Min couple. Victoria made no sense. He had seen her personality do an eighty degree change in a couple of seconds. Something that she said, made his thoughts spin. 'I don't double cross people without a reason.' What could have possibly been the reason for her to push her own father away? He took a few steps away, then he thought about his friend.
He shouldn't have reacted that way. Victoria tried to keep their friendship intact, yet he was taking two steps back. So he decided to try to make amends. He turned around and knocked on the door again. Namjoon took a step back when a pissed off Yoongi opened the door.
"What do you want now?" Yoongi was still angry, however his voice was dangerously leveled.
"I'm sorry Yoongi. I'm sorry for not being there with you when you needed me. I wanted to come to your wedding, I just didn't know if I was welcomed." Namjoon explained. Hoseok and Jungkook told him that it could be the reason why he was angry on them, especially him and Jimin, since neither of them made any attempts to see him.
Yoongi smiled. A smiled filled with sadness and pain. "Now we'll never know, are we?"
"I don't understand what I did to make you hate me. You hated me before the wedding too. Why?" Namjoon didn't know what he could have done to make one of his best friends walk away from his life.
Yoongi sighed. "You know what you did. I'm not sure if I can ever forgive you for that. You betrayed me Namjoon. In the worst form someone could do."
"Just tell me what I did. Please." Namjoon begged. "I just want us to go back to how we were."
"No. I can't. As much as I want to have you guys back, I can't forgive you. You and Jimin broke my heart, and the others stood by your side. I'm done with this friendship, and I do hope to never see you again." With that, he closed the door right in his face.
"Are you okay?" Victoria asked when she saw a tear rolling down his cheek.
"I'm fine." Yoongi replied, wiping his tear away. He just couldn't forgive them, not matter how much he wanted it. "I don't want you to talk to him ever again. Or any of them for that matter."
She rolled her eyes. "You're delusional if you think something is going on between me and him. One of my sister's ex is enough for me. I don't want to add another one to the list." She replied dryly.
"I'm serious Victoria. Don't ever fucking cross me."
"Fuck off Yoongi. I do whatever the hell I want. None of your business."
"Victoria." Yoongi yelled.
"Yoongi." She yelled back and burst out laughing. "Jealousy doesn't look good on you honey. Might want to drop it a notch or two."
"Why do you always feel the need to push my buttons?" He sighed.
Victoria shrugged and grinned. "I'm bored. Pissing you off it's my past time activity."
"Right." He muttered. He walked inside his room. He was happy to see Namjoon, at the same time, his heart broke. The betrayal stung more than his desire to see his friends.
