"No balloons? Seriously?" Ivy had her hands on her hips and looked around the room where the baby shower will be held. It was a nice arrangement and all, but she felt it was a little too bland.
"Do you want to get in charge of the decorations?" Jimin wrapped his arms around her waist and looked at her lovingly.
"Can I?" Her eyes sparkled with happiness to be able to be involved in the process.
"Of course baby. Do whatever you think it will look the best."
"Perfect." Ivy kissed his cheeks and went out looking for her favorite employee, Mitch. She found him at the pool shed.
"Can I help you miss?" Mitch asked looking around him. He was shy when people were around him, he was still afraid he will get judged, even though they didn't know his life story.
"Please call me Ivy. Are you busy?"
"At the moment no. Can I help you?"
Ivy clapped her hands and grinned. "Well Mitch, we have a party to plan. Are you in?"
Mitch looked at the woman in front of him. Her excitement was contagious, but the thing that made him feel relaxed around her, was her kind attitude towards him. He didn't see pity wen she looked at him, he saw kindness and friendship.
With all the women around his boss, Ivy was the only one he liked so far. The rest of them were condescending, rude and some were even a bit evil. As a forgotten boy, Mitch learned to pick up the subtle differences in what makes a person unique. He knew Ivy was a good person, more so since she didn't act entitled.
"Anything for you miss." He corrected himself quickly when he saw her raised eyebrow. "Ivy."
"Perfect." She chuckled. She took his hand and together they walked in restaurant.
Mitch looked rather lost. He knew nothing about parties and planning. "Ivy..." His voice was low. "How do we start?"
Ivy chuckled. "Well, first we need space for the dance floor. We're going to take out half of these tables out. On the right side of the wall, we're going to have two couches with a few fluffy pillows. I want white helium filled balloons and stars hanging from the ceiling." Her vision was something similar to a night between stars. She wanted black, white, silver and gold. If she managed to pull it off, it was going to be an absolute wonder.
Together with Mitch and few other employees, Ivy managed in a few hours to almost finish. She worked side by side with them, and everything hurt. She pulled, pushed, stretched and rolled, but the results were incredible. A few more things to adjust and the room would be ready to be filled with people. Jimin was in charge of the guest list.
"Okay. Let's take five, people." Ivy clapped her hands. "We all worked hard and we deserve it. I want to thank you so much for your help. Without you guys, I wouldn't be able to do it. So thank you again."
"You welcome miss." The small team said together.
Though they worked hard, they also had fun. They were telling jokes, laughing, and even teasing one another. Mitch turned around to go to the bar and bring some bottles of water for the team, but he bumped into someone by mistake. The woman he bumped into was holding a cocktail glass which slipped from her hand and fell on the floor, the content was spilled all over her expensive shoes. At the sight of her ruined shoes, the woman's eyes sparkled red with anger.
"I'm really sorry ma'am." Mitch quickly apologized. Seeing the woman angry, made him bow to her. "Please allow me to clean them up." His voice was trembling with fear.
"You fucking piece of shit." The woman screamed her lungs out. "These shoes are Prada, and you ruined them. They cost more than you monthly payment, you dirty freak donkey."
Ivy heard the screams and rushed to check and see what the heck was going on. Her eyebrows furrowed when she saw the bimbo who was clinging to Jimin a few weeks ago, yelling at Mitch and spewing nonsense.
"Don't you dare talk to him like that, you plasticized bimbo." Ivy stepped in front of Mitch, taking a stand against the woman's entitlement.
"Oh, this is rich." The woman laughed. "Does Jimin know you're screwing the help?"
Ivy rolled her eyes. She was trying to get a reaction out of her, but Ivy wasn't stupid. "Why are so interested? Do you want to try it too?" She crossed her arms on her chest and glared at the woman.
"You bitch. Not only you made me look bad in front of Jimin, you also ruined my shoes."
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Ivy asked dryly. The woman acted like two year old throwing a tantrum. "Get a hold of yourself."
Before Ivy had any chance to react, the woman suddenly charged for her and grabbed a handful of her hair. Ivy found herself on the floor with the woman on top of her. "Not only you took my man but you also let that wretched man ruin my shoes."
"Screw you." Ivy yelled back and managed to roll on the floor, resulting in her sitting on top of the woman.
"What the hell is going on?" Jimin asked as he rushed towards his girlfriend and checked her for wounds. "Baby are you okay?"
"Yes honey. This bitch started insulting Mitch for an accident that made her drop her drink on her shoes, then she attacked me saying I stole you from her." Ivy explained everything in one breath.
Jimin released a breath he didn't know he was holding, and turned his attention to Mitch. "Are you alright buddy?"
"I'm really sorry boss." Mitch pleaded. "It was an accident I swear. I didn't see her. Please don't fire me." He bowed in front of his boss, tears running down his face.
"It's okay buddy." Jimin patted his back. "It was an accident." He saw how shaken up he was. "You can take the rest of the day off. You deserve it."
Mitch nodded with his head, and left. He didn't want to argue with his boss, which thankfully allowed him to keep his job. He didn't want to imagine how he would have ended up.
"He should be fired. He ruined my expensive shoes." The woman yelled again.
Jimin shook his head and motioned with his hands, to grab the security attention. "Please escort this woman out of my property. Make sure she doesn't return."
"How can you do this to me? I've paid for my room here. Don't you know who I am?"
"Could you just stop screaming?" Jimin rubbed his temple. "My lawyers will contact you for the reimbursement for your shoes and hotel room. As for who you are, I hardly give a crap." The security escorted the woman to her room to get her things then they made sure she was out of the property.
"Let's go into my office." Jimin took Ivy's hand and dragged her in his office. As soon as he closed the door, he attacked Ivy with his lips. "God baby, you were so hot."
Ivy pushed him away. "Park, can you tell me how many women should I expect to fight for you?" Though her words were serious, she had a smirk on her face.
"I'm sorry baby. It's not my fault." He quickly apologized. "You know I have eyes only for you."
Ivy laughed and playfully slapped his arm. "You're funny."
"One of the perks of being with me." He winked and she rolled her eyes. "How about I show you the other perks?"
She raised her eyebrow. "Bring it on lover boy."
