Melanie's eyes were covered, but she couldn't miss the smell of the ocean, or the sound of the waves. "Where are we?"

Namjoon scooped her in his arms and took her on a yacht. It was the same yacht she told him she was leaving. "We are creating better memories." He whispered in her ear, sending shivers down her spine.

He put her down and took the blindfold off. She was left in awe. The yeast was filled with flowers, food, fruits and drinks. It was absolutely amazing. She turned around and wrapped her hands around his neck.

"You always have a way to surprise me."

Namjoon kissed the tip of her nose. "I try my best. Do you remember last time we were here?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah." She did remember. It was the day she left half of heart with him. Thankfully, in the end everything turned out perfectly.

"Now, it's my turn to tell you something." His expression darkened and she took a step back.

"What is it?" Melanie asked. Afraid that he might take this opportunity to push her around, like nothing happened between them.

He took a glass of champagne and handed it to her. "Let's sit down." His expression was blank, showing no emotion.

She wanted nothing more that throw the glass overboard and run away. Nonetheless, she forced herself to stay. Perhaps she was mistaken.

After they sat down, Melanie didn't want to wait anymore. "What is it?"

Namjoon looked at his shoes and took a deep breath. After a few moments, he finally had the courage to look her in the eyes. "A few days ago, I found out that I actually know your sister. We met during high school."

"Did you sleep with her too?" She blurted out without thinking. "I'm sorry..." She tried to excuse herself.

He cut her off with a wave of his hand. "You don't have to apologize for your thoughts." He shyly smiled, showing off the dimples she came to love so much. "Nothing happened between us. I just wanted to tell you that. I don't want to keep secrets between us. Even though there is nothing to tell either."

Melanie finally released the breath, she didn't kn ow she was holding. Thankfully, what she believed, didn't happen. She was happy he was adamant on not keeping secrets. It just showed her how much he respected her.

"It's okay baby." She patted his hand. "Thank you for telling me."

"I know you are stressing yourself for tonight. I need you to promise me something."

"Yes?" Melanie furrowed her eyebrows.

"Whatever you sister is telling you, please listen to her first." Namjoon explained.

"This is strange. You never told me this before." She got up and started pacing back and forth. "Is there anything else that I should know?"

"No." He shook his head. "It's not like that. Victoria I knew, she was a sweet kid, nice and shy."

"You're saying that it's my fault?"

"Of course not love. All I want to tell you is that you should listen with an open mind. I have a feeling is not what it seems. I don't know." He ran his hand through his hair. "I hate that I can't explain properly what I want to say."

Melanie sighed. Weirdly enough, he was making sense. She sat on his lap and wrapped her hand around his shoulders. "It's ok babe. I promise I will listen to her side of the story."

"Thank you." He kissed her lips. "Now, can we like please go in the water?"

Melanie laughed and jumped in together in the crystal blue water.

"Hun, you should go and talk to your brother." Nari told her boyfriend.

Jin sighed and looked at his brother, who was at a bar alone, drinking. "He's so sad these days."

"You noticed too?"

"Yes. It's not like him." Jin sighed. "You're right. I should go talk to him."

Jin kissed his girlfriend and walked towards his brother, leaving her alone on the seat close to the pool. She proudly showed her baby bump, and Jin was thrilled. He really did feel like he had everything.

"What's up with you?" Jin asked his brother as soon as he sat next to him. "Drinking in the middle of the day?"

Taehyung glared at him. "Fuck off."

"Oh, he pissed. What's wrong?" Jin asked more serious now. Something was bothering his brother and he couldn't just drop it. Nari would probably chew his head off if he didn't fix whatever was bothering Taehyung.

"I don't know. I'm just feeling lonely these days." Taehyung took another sip from his glass. "Does that make any sense?"

"it does." Jin agreed. "Especially if your thoughts are full of a certain girl you call best friend."

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked, already irritated.

"Come one. No man can be such a good friend to a woman. You definitely have some feelings towards her." Jin explained, trying to keep his expression neutral.

"We do it." Taehyung shrugged. "It's not a big deal."

"Come on Tae. You love her."

"Of course I do. She's my best friend." Taehyung replied.

"No, what I mean ism you lo..."

"Don't." Taehyung cut him off. He was already pissed off. "Don't make me say it. Don't make me face my feelings. She's my best friend, that's it.

Jin patted the younger's back. "Sometimes, you need to face your own feelings to be able to move forward, if not, you will always think what if?"

"I can't." Taehyung chewed his lower lip. "I was the one who made her realize she loves him. Adding myself to the mix, it would only make her feel bad. I don't want that."

"So you're going to ignore what you're feeling just so you don't upset her?" Jin couldn't understand that.

When he felt secure enough on his feelings, he pulled Nari aside and told her. E couldn't have been happier when she told him, she was also in love with him. It bound to happen anyway. Late night work, lunches and dinners in the office. It didn't take a genius to realize what would happen next, more so when both of them were single.

"Yeah. If I tell her she'd feel indebted to try, which will mean she'll dump Namjoon because of me. She has a sense of loyalty that it doesn't even match yours. I don't want it to come between us."

"Oh." Jin pondered for a couple of minutes. Obviously he didn't want either of the boys to suffer. Namjoon happiness wasn't worth Taehyung's suffering, and Taehyung's happiness wasn't worth Namjoon's suffering. "I can understand now. So what are you going to do?"

"Nothing." Taehyung forced himself to smile. "I'm still going to be her best friend, but I'll start dating too." He closed his eyes and grinned. "What is your policy on office dating?"

Jin burst out laughing. "It worked so far. Why? You have someone in mind?"

"I might, yeah."

Jin looked at his brother. Even though there was pain and loneliness in his eyes, he knew that Taehyung was going to be okay in the end. He will find someone to love too, just like Jin did.
