~~{Sakura's POV}~~

I watched Nosido being dragged from the stadium by a few pro heroes and I got the urge to go with them, but Zota shot up from his seat next to me. "We're next, but fuck it. I need to check, just go without me. I'll meet you out there." I watch Zota run down the steps to the prep rooms. I followed in pursuit, heading to my prep room before our next battle.

I entered my designated room, waitting. A few things rush through my mind. Mostly about what happened to Nosido. Nosido isn't one to just attack someone like that, let alone his own brother or his friends. I know from experience that who he was just them wasn't Nisodo. Something happened to him, but I wouldn't know what. A chill runs down my spine and I can't help but feel that he acted like that due to something from the league... He seems to be a target for them, maybe they did something to him like Hagita did to me. But I have no way of proving that, maybe the best I can do is to just sit back and watch from the side.

I head over to the table and see my grey case that holds my support item. I was allowed this so as to not injure my throat. I open it and see my voice amplifier. I pick it up, it's about time to start our battle. With my voice amplifier in hand, I head out into the tunnel where I should be announced sooner or later to enter.

"Alright everybody!" Red Riots voice echoes down the tunnel. "It's time for our next battle for the semi-finals. Please welcome our contestants, Sakura Inda, and Zota Heigakaru!" Cheers are heard and I exit out onto the battlefield. The crowd roars for me as I step into the ring, but moments pass and no Zota. Whispers rise in the stadium, and Red Riot speaks again. "Uh, I'm getting word that it's gonna be some more time before Zota comes out due to his friends condition. Any moment now."

I sit criss crossed and watch the opposite tunnel where Zota should be coming out. This gives me time to put my amplifier on. I unhinge the back of it, slipping it around my neck, then latching it again. The little red button on the front has to be held while I use it. It sticks sometimes, making it easy for me, but when not in use, it sucks when it sticks.

I hear the crowd roar again as Zota rushes from the tunnel, arms up. "Alright everyone, Zota has entered the arena. Time to start the show!" I stood up as Zota stepped foot into the ring. "Ready! Three! Two! One! Clash!"

Neither of us go to move right away. Both knowing how the other is. We've trained together, I guess I do have the upper hand here since I know how to read his movements. I put one step forward and watch him dart forward, sprinting to me.

His right arm starts to wind back, going in for a right hook. Not so fast... I'm quick to dodge, and grab hold of his arm, pushing his elbow inwards. He yelps slightly sliding behind me as I face him. He takes stance. "We're really here baby, I will not be going easy on you. So neither should you. We're not training anymore, it's the real deal."

"Yeah, but I can read you like a book. This is going to be easy for me." I make movement to press hold of my button. "I have high ground." I hold it and send a smaller sized blast his way.

He side steps that and looks at me with a smirk. "And I've helped you train." He runs to me and I watch his feet and arms before his right foot stalls for a split second and I step back as his foot grazes my face. He's quick to make a move and pulls a sharp left uppercut to my chin, his knuckles colliding with the metal of my amplifier. I stumble back holding my neck as he holds his hand, a trickle of blood from his hand. His quirk doesn't make him invincible.

I run towards him grabbing his thigh, pushing him back a few feet as he grabs the back of my uniform. "Stop being a hassle and give it up screamo! I'm stronger than you!" He wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up, turning me upside down. He tosses me to the side, my back hitting the concrete and I scream out in pain. I roll a bit and hold myself up on my elbows and see the white rined line, just a foot away.

I roll my eyes and turn towards Zota again. "I'm already tired of this." I stood straight and planted my feet for leverage. I hold my red button and don't hold back from my sonic blast. Zota sprints towards me. He's trying to scare me with his speed. I release the blast with Zota feet from me. I watch his eyes go wide as he freezes. You can see the sound waves rushing through the air and slam into Zota's body. It carries him until he slams into the wall of the stadium. The blast created a dent in the wall.

"Zota has been ringed out! Sakura Inda is the winner!"

With this victory, I'm guaranteed a spot on the platform. Either second or first. Zota gets third, Nosido I doubt will be able to battle. So we both are on the platform.

I exit the arena, looking back and seeing Zota stand while holding his back. I might have gotten a bit carried away. I may have hurt him, but before now I've never had to do that in battle. But with this victory, I was even closer to reaching first place... All that stood in my way now was Satsuo Shinso... Nosido's Brother.
