I woke up to the sound of someone screeching in excitement and another scream of equal excitement. My eyes snapped open and I took my head out from Suraki's shoulder, groaning slightly from still being pretty tired as I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes, looking over by Zota's couch I saw someone I wished had stayed gone for good. Hagita was back. I froze up in fear as soon as I saw him, completely pausing my breathing as well.
"Relax, Nosido. I'm not going to rip your head off." I stared at him for a few moments, taking in a breath of air and nodding faintly. Feeling a hand rubbing up and down my back, I looked to my left to see Suraki now sitting up beside me. I leaned against him a bit to help me relax a little more. Sakura came back over from seemingly the kitchen and jumped into Hagita's arms, only for a few seconds though. She dropped out from Hagita's arms and looked over at Suraki.
"I have an appointment with Momo today, what time is it?" She seemed a little panicked as she spoke. Suraki soon pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked.
"Um, around 10:30. What time is she going to stop by?"
"I wasn't told... I think maybe sometime after noon though." She shrugged and turned around, looking up at Hagita. "Come with me today, kay?" Hagita blinked for a moment, pretty obviously uninterested in the request.
"Uh, sure."
"Arlight, cool." She turned around, looking back at the rest of us with a smile. "Let's go eat, Hagita kind of knows how to cook."
"Hey! I know how to cook. It's just limited..." Hagita spoke in a pretty annoyed and defensive manner while rubbing the back of his head. But he soon smiled and swooped Sakura up and off her feet. "Come on." The two walked off towards the dining room, The rest of us following a little after and all sitting down.
I was blanked out for most of the time eating, remaining silent while everyone else talked in ate. I hadn't really even begun to eat until I noticed the syrup was passed down over to my side of the table, I reached for the bottle and grabbed it. But soon I saw someone else's hand also grabbed it, I looked to see it was Sakura's hand. I chuckled a little and smiled at her.
"I grabbed it first." I started to pull it away from her a bit but she quickly tugged back.
"No way, I grabbed it first!" I started to chuckle a bit as Sakura and I started to tug the bottle of syrup back and forth. I was kind of having fun with it, but as it went on I noticed that Sakura was starting to get a bit annoyed. So I let go of the bottle for her to take, still chuckling a bit.
"What color are you doing today?" I looked over at Zota as he asked Sakura the question, Seeing Hagita out of the corner of my eye furrow his brow.
"Who are you talking to?"
"Sakura, you were there when we talked about hanging out this weekend to get her hair done." Zota glanced at Hagita with his eyebrow raised slightly before looking at Sakura again.
"Right." I looked at Hagita, watching as it finally clicked in his head that that did happen. Guess he really didn't care about Sakura doing that.
"I'm not changing the color of my hair. I can just see the cut off point where my natural color meets my pink, so I'm going to raise it up a little and get my roots redone. Plus I need to cut it." She leaned over the counter a bit as she spoke to Zota. "Did you think I was going to change the color of my hair?"
"M-Maybe..." Zota looked away from her, probably feeling a little guilty now even though it wasn't really his fault for thinking that.
"Alright!" Sakura pushes her plate away from her and stands up. "I'm going to go and get dressed, and get ready for Momo to come. I also have a shit ton of things to put away." She smiles at everyone and walks away to gather up her things and head to her room.
