Breaths, Sweat, and a little blood are what it takes to push your body. But when is it too much? That's what i'm trying to figure out. With the new awakening in my quirk back at the Sports Festival, I need to get my body more durable to match along with my mind.

Classes were done for today, but I wasn't done with training. In a clearing of the woods on campus, I was testing what I could do with my quirk now before my headaches started to kick in. Since I didn't want to ruin a shirt, I was shirtless and had sweatpants on. I was crouched down in the middle of the clearing, taking slow breaths as I activated my quirk. Instead of thinking about the ink secreting from my arms though, I focused on making it secrete from my back. I felt tingling before the ink began to seep out, while it did. I also focused on making my typical tendril I form on my arms, it took a bit. But eventually a tendril formed from my back and solidified. I stood up, moving it over my shoulder so I could examine it.

"Looks about as strong as the tendrils from my arm... I could maybe use this for mobility, pull myself in a few directions to avoid attacks." I looked around the empty clearing, rubbing the back of my neck. "Shoulda asked for someone to come out here with me..." I soon pulled my phone out from my pocket, swiping through my contacts until I found someone that may be open to help me train. I decided to text Akane.

-Hey! I know this is probably annoying for you to hear, but I was wondering if you could come help me out with training in the woods on campus. I can wait by the entrance to them then lead you to the clearing I have.- I waited for a response, sitting down against a tree while still focusing on keeping the tendril from my back solid. A few minutes later, I got a text back from him.

-Is this an elaborate way of asking me on a date?-

-What?! No! I'm being serious.- I felt my face get warm as I blushed from that question. -You know i'm with Suraki.-

-I know man, I'm just kidding. Sure, I'll be over there soon. Gotta get dressed into proper clothes though.- I let out a huff when I saw that he was making a joke. Shaking my head as I got up to my feet and stretched, pausing when I remembered a lot of my bruises from that late night training with Zota were still healing. I'll have to explain that.

I went on my way back to the entrance of the woods, keeping my tendril formed the entire way. Things like this were starting to become second nature to me, I didn't have to focus as much as I used to to just hold one tendril solid. Though I could feel a headache starting to build now, so I dropped the shape of the tendril and let the ink sink back into my skin.

After waiting for maybe ten minutes or so, I could see Akane making his way over to me. He was wearing a black tank top with some black shorts, he also was carrying a duffel bag with him. I waved slightly to make sure he could see me before he stopped a foot or two away from me.

"What's up with the bruises? You get jumped by someone again?"

"No, a day or two ago Zota and I had a really late night training session. He was trying to help build up my durability by wailing punches into me, building up my pain resistance."

"Hmm... There's probably safer ways to do that, but I won't judge."

"You think the criminals or even villains will play it safe during fights?"

"True, like I said. I'm not gonna judge. Lead the way Inky."

"Inky?" He chuckled a little as I shook my head, punching his shoulder lightly before I turned and led him through the woods to the clearing I typically work in. It wasn't anything too big, but it was big enough for two people to train in. He set his duffel bag down before looking around the clearing.
