"THANK YOU, EVERYONE FOR THE CONTINUOUS APPLUASE! Now, I bet your all wondering what comes next? Well. We have two more competitions before we get to the student fights you've all been waiting for. Starting with the Class 1-A v 1-B cheer competitionnn!" As Red Riot finished his exposition. The crowd blew up again im excitement, while I looked around to my classmates in confusion.
"Cheer competition?" I spoke with a confused tone, most of us either shrugging ot not rrally making a gesture. Once again we all huddled up in a circle to divise a plan.
"Alright, we're gonna need anyone who has good voices for yelling."
"Zota." Most of the class had said that all in sync, some of us looking directly at Zota after we said it as well. He simply gave a thumbs up and smirked.
"I bet now all you guys are glad im so energetic." He chuckled, not really trying to be smug about it. He was having a lot of fun today.
"Alright, so now we need to come up with the actual cheers. Unless we want to just do the normal UA cheer."
"No no, that's a horrible Idea." Kazu spoke out, rubbing his head. "Everyone here is going to expect that... We've gotta stand out in some way that will get us the win." Everyone went mostly silent, muttering amongst eachother until Suraki spoke up with an idea.
"Why don't we do an all guys cheer?"
"Thats not too bad of an idea... But... We need something with a bit more pizzazz." We went silent in thought again, before Sakura soon let out a soft chuckle and stepped to the centre.
"I know exactly what's gonna get us the win!" That chuckle didn't make me feel comfortable.
Before we knew it, all the guys in our class were huddled in the contenders entrence tunnel and hidden from sight from tbe many spectators in the stands. Everyone was on varying levels of embarrassment. Why did we have to go with this idea? Why did you have to suggest this Sakura...
"ALLLLRIGHT! Ladies and Gentlemen. Are you ready to hear some of our class's school cheer?" The crowd roared out, Red Riot pausing for a moment to listen for a moment. "IIII CAAAN'T HEAR YOUUUU!" Once again, the crowd let out a tidal wave of cheering. Seemingly much louder than before. "ALLRIGHT! FIRST UP, WE HAVE CLAAASSS ONE-BEEE!"
We looked across the field to Class 1-B exitting from the tunnel on the opposite side, and already they had a fantastic cheer going. It was probably the most coordinated I had ever seen, from the few cheer teams i've seen in school and in movies. It was a great show of dancing and they even got some of their class to make a small pyramid. God I hope this idea works.
"Well done, Class One-B! But now, the previous competitions champions are ready for the stage. Welcome the extravagent cheering, from Class One-A!" I was frozen in fear, but I couldn't even try to calm myself down beforw I was ushered out by the swarm of my fellow male classmates behind me. The crowd was quiet, whether from shock, awe, or just taking in the sight. Because there stood in front of them was all the guys from Class One-A.
Wearing the girls cheer uniforms.
Soon though, the crowd started to get riled up again as we started our cheer of the standard UA High School cheer. Honestly I didn't know we even had a cheer until a few minutes ago, though our cheer wasnt as extravagent as 1-B. Most of it was some synchronized dancing and the classic shaking of pom poms. With all those eyes stareing at me, I started to get nervous. My breathing began to pick up, too fast for me to stop.
Did I mention that i've developed panic attacks?
